Research On Traffic Police Occupational Risks Identification And Governance In The Perspective Of Risk Society Theory

Risks are everywhere in today’s society,traffic police are facing increasingly complicated and diversified occupationalrisks.This not only seriously endangers the occupational safety of the traffic police themselves,but also has a negative impact on the traffic police department and the overall social stability.Therefore,we will carry out a research on the identification and governance of occupationalrisks of traffic police by identifying,investigating and classifying occupationalrisks in traffic police group,taking advantage of governance theory as the basis to explore the path and strategies of controlling occupationalrisks,so as to help improve traffic police’s ability to deal with occupationalrisks and promote the modernization of Chinese style public security traffic management.Through reading different literature reviews,this paper combed the relevant domestic and foreign research results on risk society,police occupational risk and risk management,and on this basis,confirmed that further and expanding research on traffic police professional risk is still in urgent need.First of all,following the approach of discovering,researching,and solving problems,using research methods such as literature review,interviews and questionnaires,draw up a defined research path.Secondly,through literature reading and interviews,identifying the occupational risk source of traffic police,developing a traffic police occupational risk assessment questionnaire,conducting a questionnaire survey,verifying the reliability and validity of the questionnaire with a quantitative method,evaluating the current situation and risk types of traffic police occupational risks,and analyzing the risk causes.Finally,according to the risk types and causes,design the path of traffic police occupational risk management,and propose governance strategies.The results show that there are at least 36 risk sources and 6 risk dimensions in the occupational risk of traffic police,which can be divided into individuals and organizations,respectively.There are three types of risks in society.Among the occupational risks of traffic police,the risks of emotional health,business work and interpersonal relationship are relatively low,and there are certain risks of physical health and team management.However,the risks of security and incentive are relatively prominent,among which the confused career development prospect,the insufficient rest time,and the satisfaction of economic treatment is low.Therefore,according to the risk governance theory,combined with the three types of risks of traffic police—individual,organization and society,the governance path of traffic police occupational risk "pre risk management-crisis management in the event-post performance management" is constructed,and put forward the countermeasures to build the traffic police occupational risk prevention and control mechanism,security mechanism,and resolution mechanism.
