Research On Improving The Capacity Of Science Popularization For Emergency Response To Natural Disasters In Mediated Society

Since the beginning of the 21 st century,the major natural disaster events in our country have been shown as a deep disaster,stimulating the national nerve.To this end,we should improve the emergency science popularization system and mechanism,enhance the scientific literacy of the people,strengthen the early risk perception before disasters and the ability to forecast and early warning,enhance the public’s awareness of disaster prevention and ability to avoid disasters,and effectively improve the emergency response level of the national and local governments,which will help minimize the damage and loss of sudden natural disasters.Based on the perspective of the media-oriented society,this study focuses on the core issue of improving the emergency science popularization ability of sudden natural disasters.By using research methods such as questionnaires,in-depth interviews and case studies,this study reviews the current application status of emergency science popularization media of sudden natural disasters,and reveals the practical problems and essential reasons of restricting the emergency science popularization ability of sudden natural disasters in the media-oriented society.Furthermore,according to the popular science preference of the public,the development resistance of government functional departments,science and technology associations,emergency education bases and other popular science subjects,the paper timely puts forward some optimization suggestions to crack the popular science ability of media-oriented natural disaster emergency response.The research is mainly divided into seven parts.The first chapter focuses on the background and significance of the topic,and reviews the research status of emergency science of sudden natural disasters at home and abroad.The second chapter analyzes the connotation and representation of several core concepts involved in this study,expounds the coupling relationship between the media society and emergency science popularization of sudden natural disasters,and puts forward theories that fit the research theme.The third chapter is to sort out the development course of science popularization at home and abroad.The fourth chapter,based on the case analysis of popular science media,public survey and in-depth interview,understands the popular science path and finds the common popular science problems.The fifth chapter reveals the existing constraints of emergency science popularization of sudden natural disasters from the aspects of content,talent and culture of popular science,and puts forward the hidden worries of emergency science popularization from the perspective of media environment and public opinion guidance.The sixth chapter puts forward suggestions on the improvement of emergency science popularization ability of sudden natural disasters from the macro,meso and micro levels.Finally,Chapter seven summarizes the full text.In this study,it is concluded that in the perspective of media society,emergency science popularization of sudden natural disasters has media functions such as environmental monitoring,resource coordination,emotional mobilization and cultural construction.Economic input,technological change and higher education system all have a coupling relationship with the emergency science of media-oriented natural disasters.At the same time,the current emergency science popularization of natural disasters has various forms and modes of communication.For example,the functional departments of the government represented by the Provincial Emergency Management Department and the provincial Science and Technology Association realize the emergency science popularization of sudden natural disasters by traditional media such as regular square consultation,telephone consultation,newspaper publicity,television publicity and public account tweets.The science popularization venues and bases represented by the Emergency Safety Education Center break through the concentric circles of online and offline science popularization,coordinate science popularization cooperation with science and Technology association,fire protection Association and other departments,and actively deploy emergency drills for natural disasters with schools,enterprises and public institutions.Although the public holds a positive attitude towards strengthening emergency science popularization of sudden natural disasters,they hold a general attitude towards the content,effectiveness and effect of the current offline emergency science popularization.This is mainly due to the insufficient capacity of the content supply side of specific science popularization subjects,shortage of professional science popularization talents,insufficient cultural construction and improper media operation.Therefore,the improvement of the emergency science popularization ability of media-oriented natural disasters can be carried out from the following aspects: at the macro level,improve the macro guidance by improving the legal system,differentiated competition and collaborative interaction,and build the top-level design "flyover";At the middle-view level,the layout of middle-view is strengthened by planning science popularization industry,establishing emergency science popularization platform,adhering to the combination of peace and war science,and opening up and implementing the "fast road";At the micro level,by strengthening the application of science and technology,optimizing the content of science popularization,and strengthening the construction of talents,it focuses on the micro presentation and optimizes the "roadmap" of science popularization content.
