In 2017,"people’s better life" appeared in the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with a high frequency of 14 times,and it was consistently mentioned in the report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,which is enough to show its importance,reality and urgency.In recent years,the academic community has carried out more in-depth research on it from various perspectives and disciplines.How ideological and political education is concerned about this goal provides new research directions and contents for ideological and political education,and has produced a series of research results,but the research results that clarify the value of ideological and political education in the perspective of a better life and the development and creation are slightly insufficient.The theoretical appeal of the development of the times and the intrinsic call for the construction of ideological and political education itself have provided new topics for studying the value of ideological and political education in the new era.Therefore,based on the perspective of ideological and political education,this paper takes "what-why-whom-how" as the logical main line,answers the basic connotation of "the value of ideological and political education from the perspective of a better life",attempts to explain its theoretical basis,grasps its value form,and puts forward a practical path from the principles and concepts,content framework,methods and means.It mainly includes the following four chapters:The first chapter is to answer the connotation and characteristics of the value of ideological and political education from the perspective of a good life,and solve the question of "what" the value of ideological and political education is from the perspective of a better life.While theoretically defining life and a good life,we follow the logical thinking of universal to special and general to individual to clarify the relevant connotation of value,and then grasp the scientific connotation of the value of ideological and political education from the perspective of value subject,value object and the relationship between the two,and then conduct cross-research on the value of good life and ideological and political education,so as to accurately and clearly define the selected topic.This then paves the way for subsequent research.The second chapter is to explain the theoretical and practical basis of the value of ideological and political education from the perspective of a good life,and answer the question of "why" ideological and political education is valuable from the perspective of a good life.As far as the theoretical basis is concerned,by grasping the process of Marxism and its sinicization,the relevant expositions of Marxism can be found from the historical continuity and the vast number of theories,so as to provide a theoretical source for the value of ideological and political education from the perspective of a better life.As far as the practical foundation is concerned,we mainly grasp the "why" of ideological and political education can be valuable to a better life from two aspects: a good life needs the value support of ideological and political education,and the value generation of ideological and political education needs a good life.The third chapter is to explore the main forms of the value of ideological and political education from the perspective of a good life,and to clarify the question of "whom" the value of ideological and political education from the perspective of a good life.From a dynamic perspective,this chapter analyzes the leading value of ideological and political education in terms of needs,understanding,and pursuit of a better life,the coordinated value of ideological and political education in the material and spiritual life of value subjects,the relationship between the interests of value subjects,the ideal of value subjects and real life,and the value of ideological and political education in condensing consensus on a better life and integrating the power and resources of a better life.Chapter 4 puts forward the path to realize the value of ideological and political education from the perspective of a good life,and discusses the question of "how" to realize the value of ideological and political education from the perspective of a better life.Based on "the main forms of the value of ideological and political education from the perspective of a better life",this chapter constructs the value realization strategy of ideological and political education for a better life,and enhances the systematic,humanistic and contemporary nature of the content of ideological and political education by adhering to the people-centered,life-oriented,upright and innovative concepts,while improving the methods of ideological and political education,and using the methods of combining virtual and real,rigid and flexible,and integrating reason to improve the dissemination,participation and satisfaction of people’s participation in a better life.
