With the continuous development of social economy,more and more women go out of their families and devote themselves to social affairs,and their social status is gradually improving.Women in the workplace have gradually become "half the sky" of enterprises and play an important role in the development of enterprises.However,due to the physiological characteristics of women and the provisions of special legal protection,enterprises must consider the gender cost in the process of employing and managing female employees.At the same time,based on the physiological characteristics of female workers,in order to better play their working ability,it may be necessary to plan different career paths for female employees and male employees.Therefore,in order to avoid trouble,or in order to pursue extreme interests,many enterprises neglect the protection of the rights and interests of female employees,and to varying degrees exercise discrimination against female employees or differential treatment against the rights and interests of female employees.It reduces the work enthusiasm and efficiency of female employees,hinders the development of female employees’ career,and brings obstacles to the human resources management and business development of enterprises.Therefore,how to effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of female employees in this environment,give full play to the ability and value of female employees,and achieve a win-win situation between the personal development of female employees and the development of enterprises has become an urgent problem to be solved by enterprises.This paper takes Company X of CQ City as the research object and adopts the literature research method,questionnaire survey method and case study method to conduct research on the problems in the protection of women employees’ rights and interests.Firstly,the historical development of the rights and interests of female employees,the protection of labour rights and interests and the protection of the rights and interests of female employees are introduced,the policy and legal background and social background of the protection of the rights and interests of female employees are understood,and the relevant theories involved in the study are understood in depth to lay a theoretical foundation for the study.After that,the basic situation of Company X is explained,the situation of female employees in Company X is introduced,and the current situation of the protection of the rights and interests of female employees is analysed.Then a questionnaire survey was used to investigate the problems in the protection of the rights and interests of female employees in Company X of CQ City.The following points were summarised: increasing barriers to equal employment,some female employees in the company being hindered in their career development,most internal employees in the company facing conflicts between work and maternity and family,unequal income and remuneration,and the imperfect system for the protection of the rights and interests of female employees.Further analysis of the reasons for this mainly included the influence of traditional social and cultural concepts,the lack of planning guidance for women’s career development,the influence of marriage and family,the influence of corporate social responsibility awareness,and the influence of insufficient public relief and support.Finally,measures to optimise the protection of the rights and interests of female employees in CQ City X are proposed from two aspects.The recommendations at the enterprise level include: improving the ability of enterprises to fulfil their responsibilities,providing career development and growth paths for female employees,establishing a scientific and effective welfare protection system,strengthening enterprise.Other social support measures and suggestions include: the government strengthening the establishment of a social governance loop that is conducive to protecting the rights and interests of female workers,female workers enhancing their professional awareness and skills,and improving the response and assistance of female worker families.It is hoped that through these two levels of comprehensive optimisation measures,it will help Company X in CQ to improve its work related to the protection of women employees’ rights and interests,and also provide certain reference and reference for other companies of the same type in the protection of women employees’ rights and interests.
