Multimodal Discourse Analysis Of Short Videos Of Public Security Affairs

In recent years,using Douyin short video platform to publicize government information has become one of the important propaganda positions of public security organs.The government information publicity mode of "Internet + government affairs service" helps public security organs to shape unique advantages of discourse function.However,due to the entertainment nature of Douyin platform,some public security organs’ Douyin video accounts still have insufficient advantages in discourse function.Therefore,how to further enhance the discourse function advantage of the public security organs’ Douyin video account on the Douyin platform and improve the efficiency of government affairs publicity is worth our innovative ideas for in-depth exploration.This paper mainly uses content analysis method,case analysis method and multi-modal discourse analysis method to select a typical public security government Douyin video account--"Shenzhen Traffic Police".Combined with part of the content released by "Shenzhen Traffic Police" on Douyin platform,this paper analyzes and studies multi-modal discourse content elements,context level and expression significance.This paper firstly analyzes the content elements of "Shenzhen Traffic Police" Douyin video account: language symbol features,companion language symbol features and non-language symbol features;Secondly,it analyzes the elements of discourse context to further explore the discourse functional advantages of "Shenzhen Traffic Police" Douyin short video.Then,from the deep meaning expression level,the reappearance significance,interaction significance and composition significance of its discourse expression are analyzed,aiming at exploring the limitations of the discourse expression of "Shenzhen Traffic Police" Douyin video number,and finally trying to propose an optimization path.
