Research On Carrying Forward The Party’s Struggle Spirit In The New Era

General Secretary Xi Jinping has published many important expositions on the promotion of struggle spirit by party members and cadres.In October 2021,the Sixth Plenum of the 19 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China will summarize "persistence and daring to struggle" as one of the top ten historical experiences of the CPC’s century-long struggle,pushing the party’s struggle spirit in the new era to the forefront of the party’s theoretical research.The spirit of struggle in the new era has rich connotations of the times,and its core connotations can be summarized into four major aspects,namely,the courage to face contradictions,the courage to confront hardships,the courage to take responsibility,and the courage to win victory.On the basis of studying the connotation,four basic characteristics can be summarized,namely,firm people’s stand,clear direction of the times,profound scientific logic and remarkable practical character.Carrying forward the struggle spirit in the new era has its inevitability of the times and practical urgency.Against the background of the international situation that has undergone major changes unseen in a century,the domestic situation of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and the era of the situation within the party that strictly controls the party and the party,it is historically inevitable to carry forward the struggle spirit in the new era.At the same time,the "rickets" of unwillingness to fight without a deep understanding of struggle,the "phobia" of not having a firm will to fight,and the "incompetence" of not being able to fight because of lack of ability,hinder the Communists from developing The will of the main body of the struggle spirit is a realistic challenge to develop the struggle spirit in the new era.To carry forward the struggle spirit in the new era,we need to follow the basic method,that is,we must adhere to the unity of party spirit and people’s nature,principle and flexibility,process and effectiveness,reality and predictability and regularity and purpose.At the same time,carrying forward the fighting spirit also requires specific action guidelines,that is,to consolidate the ideological foundation,consolidate the political foundation,strengthen the guidance of public opinion,deepen the guidance of example,and promote the implementation of practice.
