After Russia experienced the "Great Turbulence Period",due to frequent conflicts and wars within the ruling class,the social productivity of the entire country was severely damaged,land was barren,and urban and rural settlements were almost halved.Although the country’s central authority was reestablished after the turmoil,the country’s economic recovery is still slow.After the succession of Tsar Alexei Mikheilovich,he needed to safeguard the interests ofthe feudal lord class in exchange for his stable rule.Therefore,the Council of Gentry adopted "the Russian Ulozhenie of 1649"."The Russian Ulozhenie of 1649",as a ruling tool to ensure ruling order and defend class interests in written form,effectively protected the interests of feudal rulers,reflecting the class attribute of its feudal code.In order to maintain their own rule and alleviate social conflicts,the rulers of various dynasties in Russia have successively led,compiled,and formulated many laws represented by "the Russkaia Pravda","the 1497 Sudebnik","the Russian Ulozhenie of 1649",and "Complete Book of Laws of the Russian Empire in 1835",forming a relatively complete legal system.The main issue studied in this article is the feudal Russian Ulozhenie of 1649 during the embryonic period of Russia’s absolute monarchy.Based mainly on "the Russian Ulozhenie of 1649" and related laws,this article analyzes and explores the content of "the Russian Ulozhenie of1649" and its impact on national development,with a view to deepening the understanding and understanding of the history of the 17 th century Russian centralized state from one side.The full text consists of an introduction,main text,and conclusion.The introduction section focuses on analyzing the reasons and significance of the topic selection,and briefly introduces the books and literature referenced in the process of writing the paper.The text is divided into three parts.The first part analyzes the political system and socio-economic patterns of Russia in the 17 th century,and combs the historical background and legal sources before the promulgation of "the Russian Ulozhenie of 1649";The second part analyzes the way rulers manage the country and the legal status of various social strata through the provisions of "the Russian Ulozhenie of 1649";The third part discusses the "the Russian Ulozhenie of 1649" promoting the formation of a unified landlord aristocracy,the establishment of serfdom,the transformation of the Russian monarchy,and its impact on subsequent Russian national legislation.The conclusion part is a summary of the full text.From the above research,it can be seen that in the early 17 th century,Russia was at a stage of drastic changes within the ruling bloc,with the further development of feudal production relations and feudal private ownership of land.In this process,"the Russian Ulozhenie of 1649" played a role in protecting feudal private ownership,regulating commercial lending relationships,and optimizing the tax system in the economy;Politically ensuring the exercise of the czar’s authority and protecting the political power of the privileged class;In terms of social customs,it has standardized the legal status of various social strata and improved customs in marriage and family;In the judicial field,the principles of litigation and trial have been established,and the methods of crime and punishment have been standardized.It can be said that the compilation of "the Russian Ulozhenie of 1649" played an important role in promoting the feudal process of Russia.As a documentary material,"the Russian Ulozhenie of 1649" accurately and accurately reflects the political and economic operation of the country at that time,which is of great reference significance for understanding the legal development of the Russian Empire.
