Contemporary Interpretation Of Marx’s Concept Of Labor

In the 1840 s,on the basis of the labor theory of previous thinkers,Marx first pointed out the original position and fundamental role of labor in human history.The idea that labor creates people and human society constitutes the basic point of historical materialism.Marx’s scientific conclusions on the structure,nature,laws and trends of human society are based on this foundation.It can be said that the concept of labor,as the cornerstone of Marx’s labor thought,is not only an important part of Marx’s historical materialism,but also a red thread that runs through the three components of Marxism.Labour or the emancipation of labourers constitutes the fundamental purpose of Marxist doctrine.Marx’s thought on labor and its sinicization is the guiding ideology for the Communist Party of China to lead the people to carry out revolution,construction and reform,the guiding ideology for realizing the goal of the second century of struggle,and the guiding ideology for striving to realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Today,the world is undergoing profound changes unseen in a century,and the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is within reach.However,the old world pattern has not fundamentally changed,the basic contradictions of capitalism have not fundamentally changed,the logic of capital still dominates the capitalist world,the bloody exploitation of capital is covered up by the material wealth created,workers are always in a state of alienation,the sharp opposition of capital and labor remains an essential feature of modern capitalism.Since the reform and opening up,China’s development achievements have amazed the world.The building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects has become a reality,and China has become the world’s second largest economy.However,the negative impact of the market economy and the negative effects of capitalist ideology and values have made capital fetishism,individualism,hedonism,money worship,and consumerism popular,seriously eroding the core values of socialism and hindering the people’s pursuit and creation of a beautiful life.Xi Jinping’s scientific thesis that "work creates a beautiful life" contains not only a criticism of capitalism,but also a value guide for human civilization.Therefore,in the new era,we should reorganize and interpret Marx’s concept of labor,explore its profound theoretical connotation and value implication,interpret its significance of the times from multiple dimensions,study and research on our deepening party’s innovation theory,and overcome the negativity of the wrong capitalist trend of thought.It is of great significance to inspire people’s confidence in creating a beautiful life,and to gather great power for the great cause of national rejuvenation.On the basis of tracing back to the theoretical premise and ideological source of Marx’s concept of labor,this thesis is based on three classic documents,namely "Manuscript of Economics and Philosophy in 1844","German Ideology" and "Das Kapital",this paper combs the evolution process of Marx’s labor concept by adopting the research method of the unity of logic and history,and expounds the scientific connotation of Marx’s labor concept from three dimensions: in the dimension of philosophical ontology,Labor is a free and conscious life activity of human beings,and the concept of labor exists as the essence of human beings;In the critical dimension of political economy,the concept of labor appears in the form of wage labor under the conditions of real capitalist private ownership;In the ideal dimension of communism,he focused on the free labor to realize people’s all-round and free development.The three parts of Marxism are based on labor from the standpoint of workers.The concept of labor has become the common logical main line of each theoretical part and plays an important role in the whole Marxist theoretical system.Based on the understanding of the connotation of Marxist labor concept,this paper analyzes the current form of labor and the new situation of labor education,and emphasizes that under the guidance of the Marxist labor concept and the latest theoretical achievements of its Sinicization,scientifically understand the digital characteristics of labor in the new era,forming a good atmosphere in which people respect labor;It emphasizes that we should carry forward the spirit of model workers and shape labor character through labor education;It emphasizes the correct understanding of the relationship between labor and happiness,creating a beautiful and happy life through labor and realizing high-quality development.
