Pioneer Corps activity courses,as the ideological leadership of children and adolescents,its content and the form of the multiplicity of new challenges to the professionalism of the Pioneer Corps counselors,and the Pioneer Corps counselors as the main force of the ideological education of children and adolescents,its professional development is a necessary path to reform the Pioneer Corps education and promote the overall development of children and adolescents.Tibet is located in the southwestern border area of our country,and is an ethnic and border area in China.Because of the special characteristics of the educational environment,educational objects,and educational goals,Tibetan Pioneer Corps counselors need to have more professional knowledge and skills than the general area Pioneer Corps counselors,and to continuously develop professionally.Therefore,this study takes the activity course(specifically the Pioneer Corps activity course)as the perspective to carry out the research on the professionalization and enhancement of Tibetan Pioneer Corps counselors,which combines the actual work of Tibetan Pioneer Corps and also responds to the new situation of China’s Pioneer Corps construction.This study mainly used literature research method and interview method,firstly,by combing the literature on the professionalization of pioneer counselors,and clarifying the purpose,significance and ideas of the study with the actual situation in Tibet,then defining the core concepts of pioneer activity course,pioneer counselor and pioneer counselor professionalization,summarizing and outlining the unique connotation of pioneer counselor professionalization in ethnic areas through comparative analysis,and determining the theoretical basis of this study with activity course theory and teacher professional development theory.Secondly,the author visited some elementary school in Lhasa to understand the current situation of their professional development,and analyzed the implementation,professional development,and management of the activity courses of Tibetan pioneer counselors,so as to find that the professionalization of Tibetan pioneer counselors mainly exists: low willingness to implement activity courses,solidified implementation content,insufficient professional knowledge reserve,lack of professional ability,unclear evaluation and recruitment criteria,difficulties in title evaluation,and lack of incentive mechanism.Then the interviews and the collected data were organized again and analyzed that the problems of professionalization of Tibetan Pioneer Corps counselors were mainly affected by: ambiguous understanding of Pioneer Corps work by Pioneer Corps counselors,insufficient knowledge and ability for independent professional development,low attention to professional status,and imperfect management system.Finally,based on the analysis of the problems and causes,targeted countermeasures are proposed to enhance the professionalism of Tibetan Pioneer Corps counselors,mainly from enhancing the initiative of Pioneer Corps counselors in learning,improving professional knowledge and skills,improving professional moral cultivation,forming teaching and research groups for Pioneer Corps activity courses,strengthening the attention of the government and schools to Pioneer Corps counselors,and improving the management system of Pioneer Corps counselors,so as to promote the professionalism of Tibetan Pioneer Corps counselors with joint efforts from both internal and external levels.
