A Study Of The Theory And Practice Of The Spanish Communist Youth Collective

Youth organizations and their forces are an important factor in the activities of political parties and political movements in various countries and play a significant role in the world socialist movement.The communist youth in European countries,which are the birthplace of the communist movement,together with the communist parties and trade unions,have been actively engaged in economic and political struggles to unite the youth in the spirit of communism and make them communist fighters.In this regard,this study will focus on Spain,which has a long history of revolution,and select the Spanish Communist Youth Collective as the object of study to grasp its theoretical ideas and summarize its practical activities through the historical development of the organization,so as to provide reference for the communist youth organizations in Spain and other countries,enrich the Marxist view of youth,and help understand the development of the theory and practice of communism in Spain.First,on the basis of the basic overview and historical development of the Spanish Communist Youth Collective,we summarize the organization of the Spanish Communist Youth Collective,its organizational principles and its relationship with the political parties to which it belongs,and clarify the development logic of the organization’s change from its establishment as the youth wing of the Spanish People’s Communist Party in 1985 to its declaration as the youth organization of the Spanish Workers’ Communist Party in 2019.To grasp the ups and downs of the Spanish Communist Youth Collective’s development experience in less than 40 years as a whole,it is divided into three developmental stages: the period of its establishment and difficult development(1982-1993),the period of its growth and expansion(1993-2017),and the period of crisis and reinvention(2017-present).Second,by reviewing the history of the split between the Spanish Communist Youth Collective and the main communist forces in Spain,we study the development direction of the Spanish Communist Youth Collective after the re-choice of the political party to which it belongs,and analyze its vision of communist revolution and construction,including adherence to Leninist revolutionary theory and line,analysis of the stages of socialist construction,and the goal of establishing a Spanish socialist republic Theoretical propositions.Based on these theoretical ideas,it summarizes the experience of the practical activities of the Spanish Communist Youth Collective under the guidance of Marxist-Leninist theory.While inheriting the long history and traditions of Spanish communism,the organization,faced with the exploitative nature of the capitalist system and the aggressive practices of international imperialism,attached importance to the study of basic Marxist theory and formulated and implemented a series of youth policies in accordance with the changing situation in the country.Finally,the challenges and opportunities for the future of the Spanish Communist Youth Collective are discussed in light of the current circumstances of the times in which it finds itself.Today,the world socialist movement is entering a period of adjustment and revival,and the Spanish Communist Youth Collective should seize the opportunities of the times,unite the communist forces and firmly defend the interests of youth in the light of the actual social development of Spain,and the Spanish Communist Youth Collective will make positive contributions to the world socialist youth movement.
