The Communist Party Of China’s Exploration Of People’s Democracy In The Transitional Period

The development of the Communist Party of China over the past hundred years has revealed that the pursuit of people’s democracy and the realization of people’s ownership has been a constant feature of the Party’s entire development.People’s democracy is the life of socialism,and it is deeply branded on the banner of the CPC.At different times the CPC has always firmly grasped people’s democracy,based on practice,and put people’s democracy into practice on the motherland.It is useful to look back on the CPC’s exploration of people’s democracy and to summaries the experience of the CPC’s exploration and construction of people’s democracy during the transitional period,in order to sort out the development of people’s democracy and gain inspiration from it,which will be beneficial to the development and perfection of people’s democracy nowadays.The text is divided into five chapters,with the exception of the introduction.The first chapter briefly describes the theoretical origins of the CCP’s exploration of people’s democracy during the transition period.It is argued that the theoretical guidance came from Marxist theory,and that before the transition period,the CPC had explored people’s democracy to a certain extent in the light of its actual development.The second chapter discusses the background of the times in which the CCP explored people’s democracy during the Transitional Period.The environment during this period was complex,the tasks faced were formidable,and the exploration of people’s democracy was quite challenging.Chapter3 composes the contents of the CPC’s exploration of people’s democracy during the transitional period.Firstly,democratic political construction was carried out and the state and political system was clarified.Secondly,the Electoral Law was enacted to guarantee the democratic rights of the people and to introduce democratic universal suffrage.Finally,the people’s congresses were convened and the Constitution was adopted,guaranteeing that the construction of people’s democracy was based on law and that the people’s democratic rights were guaranteed by law,by means of a fundamental law.Chapter 4 summaries the achievements of the CPC in exploring people’s democracy during the transitional period.The CPC led the people to establish the state system of the people’s democratic dictatorship and led the establishment of a complete system of democratic institutions;it broadened the channels of democratic participation and diversified the choices of paths for the people to participate in the construction of democracy.Chapter 5 is a summary of the experience of the CPC’s exploration of people’s democracy during the transitional period.To build people’s democracy,it is first and foremost necessary to adhere to the leadership of the Party,to safeguard it with a sound institutional system,and to firmly follow the path of democracy building and development with Chinese characteristics.Therefore,by taking the transitional period as a point in time,this paper summarises the exploration and construction of people’s democracy by the CPC during this period,showing the experience gained by the CPC in the development of people’s democracy during this period,establishing a complete and comprehensive institutional framework for people’s democracy,laying down a basic institutional framework for the future development of people’s democracy,which is used to this day,guaranteeing the stable and favourable development of people’s democracy.Inspiration for the contemporary development of people’s democracy in its entirety...
