Indoctrination plays an important role in promoting the spread of ideas and cultures in human society,and is one of the important means for the continuation of human civilization.From the perspective of Marxist theory,the indoctrination theory guiding the work of indoctrination is an important way to help us inherit and develop Marxist theory better.Theoretical indoctrination is a work that needs long-term persistence.It is only in progress without completion.After entering the new era,theoretical indoctrination still occupies an important position.In order to do this work well,we should be good at drawing nourishment from the thoughts of former people.For this reason,it is necessary for us to carry out an in-depth study of Lenin’s theory of indoctrination.Based on this understanding,this paper discusses Lenin’s theory of indoctrination and its contemporary value in the following four parts.The first part traces the ideological origin of Lenin’s indoctrination theory and describes the formation track of Lenin’s indoctrination theory.Lenin’s theory of indoctrination is not water without a source or a tree without roots.Lenin’s indoctrination theory was born under the background of a specific era in Russia,and it is the crystallization of the collective wisdom of Marx,Engels,Kautsky,Plekhanov and other theorists.The formation process of Lenin’s indoctrination theory was not accomplished overnight,but went through a long period of germination,development and deepening,and gradually took shape in the long-term revolutionary practice.The second part explores the main content of Lenin’s theory of indoctrination.Lenin’s theory of indoctrination is embodied in the book What to Do? In the main series of related works,these documents focus on the analysis of the necessity of indoctrination,the content of indoctrination,the subject and object of indoctrination,the purpose of indoctrination and the method of indoctrination.They answer the questions of why,what,by whom,to whom and how to indoctrinate.Sorting out the main content of Lenin’s indoctrination theory is also a good foundation for the following analysis of the contemporary value of indoctrination theory.The third part is a reflection on the current debate on the contemporary value of Lenin’s indoctrination theory,which is also one of the key contents of this paper.This paper reviews the main viewpoints of both sides of the debate,explores the deeper reasons behind the debate from the perspective of practice,research context and functional orientation,and puts forward the attitude and countermeasures that should be maintained in the face of this debate.The fourth part studies the contemporary value of Lenin’s theory of indoctrination,which is another key point of this article.This chapter analyzes the main content of the contemporary value of Lenin’s theory of indoctrination,and expounds that it has a very important contemporary value in promoting the popularization of Marxist theory,coping with the infiltration of Western ideology,shaping common ideals and so on.Finally,this paper also puts forward some concrete methods to optimize Lenin’s theory of indoctrination.We should start from the four aspects of indoctrination subject and object,indoctrination content,indoctrination method and indoctrination carrier,combine with the requirements of the development of The Times to optimize the treatment,improve the compatibility of Lenin’s indoctrination theory,and help Lenin’s indoctrination theory realize its contemporary value better.
