Marxism has received widespread attention worldwide due to its theoretical,scientific,and practical nature,and has played an important role in guiding the international communist movement.In the new era,Marxist theory still plays an important role due to its vigorous vitality,and its classic texts are still valued by thinkers and theorists,becoming an important guide to our practice.Especially in colleges and universities,it is the core of the theory of ideological and political education for young students.However,due to the profound nature of Marx and Engels’ classical texts,it is difficult to read and understand;The fragmented,superficial,pictorial,and entertaining reading habits brought about by media technology in the digital era are not suitable for deep reading of difficult texts;In addition,the current problems in reading Marx and Engels’ classic texts,which are dominated by universities,as well as the problems of students themselves,make the current reading situation of Marx and Engels’ classic texts in universities unsatisfactory.Therefore,the current problem we are facing is: on the one hand,the development of the world is still the historical era pointed out by Marx,and China must continue to develop under the guidance of Marxism.As the successors of socialism,college students must systematically receive the edification of Marxism,and it is imperative to read the classic texts of Marx and Engels in universities;On the other hand,the current reading situation of Marx and Engels’ classical texts is not satisfactory.Therefore,we must face up to the problem,discard the negative effects brought about by media technology,take advantage of the advantages and convenience brought by new media technology,shoulder the test of text difficulty,and actively explore the optimal path for college students to read Marx and Engels classic texts.Based on this,this article intends to discuss from the following aspects: Chapter1,conceptual interpretation.This article describes the main concepts involved in this article,such as reading,text,Marx and Engels’ classic texts,and emphasizes the necessity of reading Marx and Engels’ classic texts in combination with the reading pedigree and functional role.On this basis,it focuses on the internal relationship between reading and Marx and Engels’ classic texts.Chapter 2: Value guidance.The systematic interpretation of the intrinsic value of reading Marx and Engels’ classic texts in the new era and the construction of a value system for reading Marx and Engels’ classic texts on this basis are the internal support of this paper.Chapter 3:Empirical research.An empirical study was conducted on the reading situation of Marx and Engels’ classic texts among current college students.Chapter 4: Analysis of the causes.The key point of this paper is to explore the causes of insufficient reading of Marx and Engels’ classic texts by college students from a subjective and objective perspective.Chapter 5: Countermeasures.In response to the above analysis,using human rationality and practical experience,this paper proposes a practical path for college students to strengthen reading Marx and Engels’ classic texts in the current context from four aspects: overall field,micro mechanism,main body power,and specific methods.
