A Study Of Political Mobilization In The Commemoration Of The Founding Of The Communist Party Of China(1937-1949)

This thesis is the result of the research in the field of basic problems of modern Chinese history,a second-level discipline under Marxist theory.The commemoration of the founding of the Communist Party of China(CPC)occupies a great deal of space in the memorial history of CPC,which is essentially a political ceremony and a political symbol.During the Revolutionary War,CPC paid great attention to and excelled at political mobilization through organizing and carrying out Party founding commemoration activities to serve the realistic revolutionary needs and the construction of political power.On the basis of the existing research results in the academic circle,this thesis uses the methods of historical research,literature study and interdisciplinary research to study the political mobilization in the commemoration of the founding of CPC from the following aspects.This thesis takes the commemorative activities of the founding of the CPC from 1937 to 1949(the period of the Comprehensive Anti-Japanese War and the Liberation War)as the research object,focuses on the political mobilization in the commemorative activities,systematically examines and combs the commemorative activities of CPC founding organized and carried out during this period,discusses the historical evolution of the implementation of political mobilization in the commemorative activities of CPC,and reveals its main mobilization forms and basic characteristics.Then,on the basis of summarizing the historical achievements of political mobilization in the commemoration of CPC founding,in order to draw the realistic enlightenment of political mobilization in the commemoration of CPC founding in the new era,so as to deepen the study of the history of CPC memorial.During the Anti-Japanese War and the Liberation War,CPC determined the content of political mobilization for its founding commemoration activities in accordance with its own political stance and the trend of realistic revolutionary development.During the period of total Anti-Japanese War,the commemoration activities of CPC carried out the political mobilization of consolidating the anti-Japanese national united front,carrying out Marxist ideological education,developing the economy and ensuring supplies under the general background of the Anti-Japanese War,and provided political,ideological and economic support for the victory of the Anti-Japanese War.During the Liberation War,the commemoration activities of the Communist Party of China focused on the purpose of opposing the civil war and establishing the New China,revealing the crimes of Jiang Jieshi’s civil war and dictatorship,criticizing the armed interference of the United States imperialists in China’s internal affairs,and calling for the establishment of a free,democratic and prosperous new China,which provided a realistic basis for the realization of national independence and the liberation of the people.According to the different forms of political mobilization in CPC founding commemoration activities,the main forms can be summarized as the mobilization of commemorative conference,newspaper publicity,production activities,cultural and entertainment activities.The CPC implements political mobilization in line with its own political mission with the help of the anniversary of CPC founding,which reflects the basic characteristics of political mobilization,such as the unity of CPC’s leadership and the masses’ consciousness,the echo of the memorial theme and the mission of the times,and the combination of ideological guidance and the integration of interests.A comprehensive study of the evolution,basic characteristics and forms of political mobilization in the commemoration of CPC founding during this time shows that it has achieved significant historical results in the process of gathering social forces,shaping the image of CPC,constructing collective memory and promoting the Sinicization of Marxism.CPC founding commemoration is the historical product of the revolutionary practice of CPC and is still an important resource for CPC’s self-construction in the new era.During the Anti-Japanese War and the Liberation War,the political mobilization of CPC founding gave us practical inspiration,that we should adhere to CPC’s leadership,expand the connotation of commemoration,enrich the forms of commemoration and promote the construction of the mechanism.
