The retired soldiers are an important force for national security and development.The employment and resettlement of the retired soldiers has always been a highly valued issue by the government and all walks of life of our country.Employment placement of retired soldiers refers to the provision of funds,technical support,employment and other related services to help soldiers return to and adapt to society according to their contributions during the service and the impact of changes in environmental conditions on life when they withdraw from active service according to certain laws and regulations.,The reform of our economic system has been further deepened,and the economic situation and international environment have changed greatly in recent years.The original resettlement policy is becoming more and more difficult to maintain,and the problem of the resettlement of retired soldiers is becoming more and more serious,attracting wide attention from the academia.Based on this background,this paper studies the satisfaction of retired soldiers’ employment placement,which is of great significance for improving the employment placement system of retired soldiers and improving the protection of retired soldiers’ rights and interests.This paper takes the retired soldiers in X City of Shandong Province as the research object,adopts a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis method,based on the human capital theory,the hierarchy of needs theory and the occupational compensation theory of soldiers,designs the questionnaire through literature reading and current situation investigation,and collate the data and interview content.The retired soldiers in X City carry out descriptive analysis.It is found that there are problems in the access to employment information,problem feedback channels,and the number of placement positions in the current employment placement of retired soldiers in X City.Then,the influencing factors of retired soldiers’ satisfaction with job placement in X City were analyzed.Based on personal situation,economic subsidies,employment training,tax incentives,work efficiency and other factors,the binary Logistic regression model was used to conduct a kind of analysis,and the influence degree of each factor on retired soldiers’ satisfaction with job placement in X city was found.The results show that household registration,employment training,economic subsidies,guidance and assistance,tax incentives,work attitude,work efficiency,work emphasis,policy content,policy improvement,feedback channels have significant influence.Based on the above factors and the current situation of the employment and placement of retired soldiers in X City,this paper proposes suggestions to improve the satisfaction of retired soldiers’ employment and placement one by one,mainly from three aspects: first,to strengthen the cognition of retired soldiers’ employment and placement policy;second,to improve the quality of employment and placement service management;third,to improve the comprehensive ability of retired soldiers.It is expected to provide reference for future research on the employment placement of retired soldiers.
