| China is a unified multi-ethnic country.In the long history of Chinese civilization,people of all ethnic groups have worked hard to safeguard and promote the reunification of the motherland,promote national unity and ensure social stability.Especially after the founding of People’s Republic of China(PRC),the cause of national unity has made remarkable progress,the education of national unity has achieved fruitful results,and the new socialist ethnic relations have been completed.National unity is a key work that concerns the vital interests of people of all ethnic groups.In the new era,the overall trend and development trend of ethnic relations in China is good,the mass and policy foundation of national unity is solid,and the sense of gain and happiness of people in ethnic minority areas is constantly increasing.However,we should also be soberly aware that the problems such as populism and ethnic conflicts caused by the rapid evolution of the current world structure will bring uncertainty and instability to China’ s ethnic problems.The violent terrorist cases in China in recent years show that ethnic areas are the key areas for separatists and religious extremist forces at home and abroad to carry out ethnic separatism and religious extremist activities,and we need to tighten the string of maintaining national unity at all times.To realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese dream,all ethnic groups need to unite and strive for a broad consensus.To this end,it is necessary to carry out extensive and in-depth education on national unity,oppose ethnic separatist activities,and resolutely safeguard national unity,so as to gather the vigorous strength to realize national rejuvenation.To strengthen the education of national unity,it is necessary to identify the key groups and key targets,and take teenagers as a breakthrough,especially to carry out the education of national unity for high school students in minority areas,which is particularly important in promoting ethnic work as a whole.Carrying out national unity education in middle school education is conducive to cultivating high school students’ patriotism and strengthening their sense of national unity.At the same time,it can guide high school students to correctly understand ethnic relations and the cause of ethnic development,and consolidate the ideological foundation for talent training and stable development in minority areas,which is of great practical significance to the overall development of the cause of the party and the country.On the basis of combing the research status at home and abroad,this paper explains the core concepts,summarizes the main contents of national unity education for senior high school students in ethnic minority areas from three aspects: recognizing the basic national conditions of a multi-ethnic country,grasping the history of the common struggle of the Chinese nation,and casting a solid sense of the Chinese nation community,and clarifies its important significance and theoretical basis.Based on the teaching experience in Linzhi No.2Middle School in Tibet,the author conducted an investigation and interview on the current situation of national unity education for high school students in minority areas,and found out the shortcomings and reasons of national unity education for high school students in minority areas from the perspective of both teachers and students.On this basis,the paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures to strengthen the national unity education of senior high school students in ethnic minority areas from three aspects: strengthening the role of the main position of the school,integrating social education forces and attaching importance to family education. |
