A Study On The "Conceal,Streamline,Strengthen" Policy Of The Chinese Communist Party In The Southern Zhejiang Base Area (1937-1945)

During the period of 1937-1945,the southern part of Zhejiang was in the middle of the gap between the Japanese and the Kuomintang.Initially,under the circumstances of the cooperation between the two parties,the party organization in southern Zhejiang gradually recovered from the blow,absorbed a large number of party members,set up party branches in each county,and called for resistance through mass groups,shifting from a completely underground state to semi-open activities.However,the good times did not last long.With the constant friction between the Communist Party and the Nationalist Party,and the clashes between the purge and the "purge",especially the "Wenzhou Incident",the air was suddenly tense and the emphasis on secret work was gradually strengthened.The Party organizations in southern Zhejiang,while accepting instructions from the Party Central Committee,also created some strategies that were suitable for the actual situation in southern Zhejiang.Through the flexible adjustment of the committee system and the special agent system,it was possible to switch between rapid decision making and collective decision making.As the fighting bastion of the CPC,the branch was faced with the situation of poor quality due to the massive development of party members in the early stage,the party organization promptly carried out rectification and made the branch strong by selecting the composition of party members,establishing exemplary party members,carrying out comprehensive education and establishing a daily system,thus achieving the effect of "lean".The armed forces were the basis of the enemy,and through the widespread establishment of the Armed Forces,the CCP gradually acquired a self-defense force,which included some of the disengaged cadres and also became strong in the process of absorbing the militia.In its daily activities,by establishing good relations with the upper and middle echelons of the Kuomintang,and by gaining the neutrality of the grassroots bailiffs and their help to the CCP,the CCP was able to obtain timely information and come and go behind enemy lines with ease.By carrying out mass work to strengthen branch discipline and combat stubborn forces,the organization and the people realized the integration of fish and water love,so that the organization could develop and strengthen its strength and close the relationship between the Party and the people,and eventually the enemy retreated and I advanced.In the end,the enemy retreated and we advanced,achieving the liberation of southern Zhejiang.These achievements are inseparable from the solid construction of grass-roots party branches,but also from the original intention and mission of the people’s army from the people,for the people,which also provides experience and inspiration for the new era of the new journey to complete the central task of the party to gather strength.
