Research On The Education Of Party Cadres In Eastern Zhejiang During The Anti-Japanese War(1941-1945)

Cadre education refers to the education that cultivates and trains cadres and improves their political,cultural and professional level.In every historical period,the CPC has taken concrete measures to train cadres in accordance with the actual situation.Since its birth,the Communist Party of China has taken the reform of China as its mission,and cadre education is an important part of this great task.During the Great Revolution,the Communist Party of China had already begun to strengthen the education of cadres,set up relevant rules and regulations,and established the content of cadre education.During the Anti-Japanese War,cadre education was gradually popularized in all anti-Japanese democratic base areas behind enemy lines.For a long time,the eastern Zhejiang region suffered from the dark rule of the Kuomintang diehards and the crazy ravages of the Japanese puppet army.Taking it as the research object,we can further clarify the practical logic of cadre education in east Zhejiang under the complex social environment,and also provide certain reference for the development of cadre education in the new era.The development of Party cadre education in eastern Zhejiang during the War of Resistance had its historical inevitability,the ideas of Marx,Engels,Lenin and Mao Zedong on cadre education formed the theoretical basis;the educational practice and successful experience of the regions during the Revolutionary period and the war period provided the realistic reference;the correct leadership of the Communist Party laid a solid guarantee for its development.From the small-scale attempt in May 1941 to the withdrawal of various troops from eastern Zhejiang in September 1945,although the time span for carrying out cadre education was not long enough,it contained rich connotations.The education of Party cadres in East Zhejiang region has experienced different development stages,each stage has its different social background and content emphasis.From the point of view of the content,the party cadres education in east Zhejiang area mainly includes: reforming the cadres’ thoughts,arming the cadres’ minds;Carry out political and military education to train cadres’ political concepts and practical combat skills;Promote professional and cultural entertainment education,improve the overall quality of cadres.In adhering to the positive interaction between the Party’s leadership,cadres and the masses,and the unity of theoretical education and practical action,the education of Party cadres in eastern Zhejiang has achieved outstanding results,trained a large number of Party,government and army cadres,sent a number of backbone forces to the troops and local areas,laid the foundation for the construction and development of the base areas and the victory of the Anti-Japanese War,and created favorable conditions.Of course,under the influence of various internal and external factors,there are still some deficiencies and improvements in the process of carrying out cadre education in eastern Zhejiang.Since socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,facing a more complex international environment and domestic situation,it is more necessary to give play to the leadership of Party cadres.Therefore,the precious experience of Party cadres education in eastern Zhejiang during the Anti-Japanese War still plays a very important role in today’s cadre education.
