Government credibility,as an important embodiment of government administrative ability,is also an important standard of government authority.The strength of the government’s credibility is directly proportional to the healthy development of the socialist market economy.Only effective government execution can reflect the credibility of the authority and promote the stable and rapid development of the society.With the development of society and the continuous progress of information technology,new media has emerged as a new force in the field of information communication,increased the openness and transparency of government information,greatly improved the administrative efficiency of the government,and also weakened the government credibility.Based on this,the research on the improvement of government credibility from the perspective of new media has important theoretical value and practical significance.After analyzing and explaining the relevant connotation and basic concepts of government credibility,this paper discusses the reasons for the enhancement of public opinion supervision function of new media,the diversification of information transmission channels,the diversification of government’s new media publicity methods,and the continuous improvement of government’s international image under the influence of the rapid development of new media.It has become a necessary condition and urgent demand for social development to enhance government credibility under the development of new media.After conducting a questionnaire survey on the ups and downs of government credibility in S City in the past two years,which is a typical example,the reasons for the weakening of government credibility in the perspective of new media are analyzed.It is believed that in the perspective of new media,especially in the face of network public opinion triggered by unexpected public events,There will be some problems,such as changes in the way people accept the guidance of media and public opinion,ineffective in controlling Internet rumors,and insufficient management of public opinion.Then,the research and analysis will be conducted from the level of social development,government system and mechanism construction and public literacy.It is concluded that the weakening of the credibility of the government is mainly due to the increasing downward pressure of the Chinese economy,the anomie of administrative personnel,the limited power of grass-roots administrative management,and the backward concept of administrative management.Therefore,combined with the characteristics and advantages of the development of new media,this paper puts forward targeted suggestions on effectively improving government credibility from the perspective of new media,such as effectively promoting employment with new media,innovating grassroots management in line with the development of new media,realizing the interaction between anti-corruption and the network,promoting the construction of a society under the rule of law with new media,and improving the government’s emergency management mechanism with the service of network big data.And improve the public’s Internet literacy,adhere to the party’s control of the media,build ideological dominance,so as to provide more theoretical support for the improvement of government credibility in the future,and promote the effective improvement of government credibility. |
