| Modernization,as an international trend,represents the general trend of human social development and progress since the industrial revolution in the 18 th century,and the pursuit of modernization in the world has never stopped,and the theoretical system of modernization has been enriched along with the development of the times.The new path of Chinese-style modernization is not only a major achievement created through a century of struggle under the leadership of generations of Chinese Communists,but also a new transcendence of the Western capitalist modernization model.As the world enters a new period of turbulent changes,the strategic opportunities and risks on the way forward are accompanied by challenges,and it is of great value to conduct a comparative study of the new path of Chinese-style modernization in the context of the century-long changes.This paper focuses on the following aspects of the new road of Chinese modernization in the context of the unprecedented changes of the century.Firstly,the paper compares the theories of Marxist classical writers on modernization,and then summarizes the strategic concepts of modernization of successive generations of Chinese Communist Party leaders and analyzes the deep relationship between the two.Secondly,the transcendental logic of the new road of Chinese modernization is explained,and through comparison with the Western capitalist modernization model,the transcendence of the new road is focused on three categories: the transcendence of the people-centered versus capital-centered approach,the transcendence of the socialist system versus the capitalist system,and the transcendence of the new concept of development versus the traditional Western concept.Once again,the logic of the reality of the new road of Chinese-style modernization is explained,and the modernization of China in the practical process should not only adhere to the comprehensive leadership of the Party,but also to the ideological guide of the modernization of Marxism in China.Finally,the world significance of the new path of Chinese-style modernization is explained.This path firstly creates a new model of modernization different from Western capitalism.It is not only a powerful rebuttal to the equation of modernization with Westernization,but also expands the way to modernization for the majority of developing countries.Secondly,it has become a new example of socialist modernization in the 21 st century,and has injected new vitality into the development of socialism in the contemporary world while getting rid of the negative influence of the Soviet model.Finally,it has fully manifested the diversity of human civilization in the international community,not only successfully creating a new form of human civilization,but also a complete embodiment of the solidarity of human destiny.As the goal of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the new path of modernization in Chinese style has always followed its own unique theoretical and practical logic in the process of practice,and has achieved multiple dimensions of transcendence in the comparison with the modernization of Western capitalism.We cannot deny the role of industrial revolution and capitalism in the modernization of human society,but we should also see that the old road of modernization through foreign aggression and expansion to achieve national development is no longer feasible.The world today is in the context of a century of changes,unilateralism and protectionism are gradually on the rise,and the international effect caused by the Russia-Ukraine conflict has added instability to the theme of the times of peace and development.In the face of external risks and challenges,the new path of Chinese modernization proves in practice that there is no one-size-fits-all model of modernization.This new path is not only the major achievement of the Chinese Communist Party after a century of struggle,but also the key to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. |
