A Study On Marx’s Thought On People’s Livelihood

The people’s aspiration is the direction of government.As socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era,the main contradiction in our society is the contradiction between the people’s growing need for a better life and unbalanced and insufficient development.Based on Marx’s classic works and previous studies,this paper systematically analyses Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood,which takes people’s real needs and practices as its logical starting point,the capitalist mode of production as its logical cause,and people’s free and comprehensive development as its logical goal,as well as the theoretical value of Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood and its practical feasibility.This paper explains the background and significance of studying Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood,reviews the current situation of research in this field at home and abroad and the results achieved,and points out in which aspects the study of Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood is useful and valuable;after introducing the ideas and methods,innovations and shortcomings of the study,it composes the background and formation process of Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood.Firstly,the background of the emergence of the development of Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood,the main ideas on people’s livelihood before Marxism and their influence on Marx are outlined;secondly,the stages of the development of Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood are divided.Again,the rich connotation of Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood is analysed.Marx’s thought on livelihood is a logical construction of Marx’s transformation of nature and society through the real basic needs of human existence and life practice,ultimately criticising the impact of the alienated labour of the capitalist mode of production on human freedom and overall development.On the basis of an analysis of the connotations of Marx’s ideas on livelihood,the main features of Marx’s ideas on livelihood are outlined.The main features of Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood are practicality,scientificity and topicality.Finally,the contemporary value of Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood is discussed.The paper discusses the theoretical value of Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood and its practical significance to the real life of contemporary Chinese people,and makes suggestions on how socialist theory with Chinese characteristics can enrich and develop Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood.Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood is practical,scientific and contemporary;they are the basic features of Marxist theory.On the basis of a clear understanding of the internal logic of Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood,this paper explores the background and achievements of the Chineseisation of Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood by analysing the livelihood thoughts of successive leaders of the Communist Party of China.In the process,it links Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood with the development and construction of China’s livelihood,summarises the experience and practice of building people’s livelihood in China’s primary socialist stage,and emphasises the relevance of Marx’s thought on people’s livelihood.
