| Since the 18 th National Congress,Since the 18 th National Congress, the Party Central Committee, with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, has attached great importance to ideological work and made many fundamental and strategic deployments, making China’s ideology generally positive and standing at a new historical opportunity point. In today’s global digital wave, digital technologies represented by artificial intelligence,5G,big data, blockchain and cloud computing have profoundly changed some traditional organizational forms, values, cultural awareness and communication forms of human society, and have ideological attributes that cannot be ignored. In the digital era,a variety of new and trendy ideas and all kinds of thoughts are flooding the network, and neo-liberalism,historical nihilism and other tides are wrapped in it,constantly impacting people’s ideology. The "decentralized" nature of the self-media ecosystem is becoming increasingly prosperous and poses a great threat to ideological security. The complexity and enormity of the struggle in the field of ideology have been highlighted, and China’s ideological security is facing a severe test. This paper is divided into four parts. The first part defines the concept of digital era and ideology. The second part analyzes the theoretical basis and practical significance of maintaining China’s ideological security in the digital era, proposing that maintaining ideological security is a prerequisite for political stability and economic development,an important guarantee for road confidence and great rejuvenation, and an inherent requirement for achieving Chinese-style modernization. The third part analyzes the new opportunities and challenges facing China’s ideological security in the digital era.The fourth part starts from three aspects: digital education, digital cultural industry development and digital government construction, and discusses the path of building China’s ideological security in the digital era, taking into account historical lessons. The history of the collapse of the Soviet Union and the evolution of "liberal" ideology, like the positive and negative sides of dialectics, reveals to us that ideology is constantly developing and changing, and needs to reflect and adjust itself at any time to adapt to social changes and development. This paper argues that in the digital era,China’s ideology has both principles that need to be consistently adhered to and areas that need to be appropriately adjusted. What needs to be upheld is the leadership of the CPC(which is also the bottom line of ideological security)and the mainstream status of Marxism in the ideological field. What needs to be adjusted is: the government’s governing philosophy and role transformation from an authoritative government to a service-oriented and open government, building a digital government, improving the level of open government information, and being a leader of public values,an integrator of public resources, and a responder of citizens’ demands. And these transformations should be a top-down process. |
