A Study On The Consumer Behavior Of Women In Shanghai’s Outbound Tourism

With the continuous improvement of China’s economic development,outbound tourism has become an important choice for people to travel,and it has also greatly promoted the rapid growth of outbound tourism consumption,especially among female outbound tourists from provinces and cities with relatively developed economic levels in China.In view of this,this study chooses to study the consumption behavior of Shanghai women in outbound tourism.In this study,a combination of literature analysis,questionnaire survey,and quantitative research methods was used to conduct in-depth research and exploration.Through a questionnaire survey of female overseas tourists in Shanghai,it was found that the main conclusions drawn by women in Shanghai regarding their consumption of overseas tourism are as follows:Firstly,through research,it has been found that female outbound tourists in Shanghai have significant differences in their outbound tourism consumption based on demographic characteristics,mainly manifested in high differences in age,different modes of travel,and preferences for consumer products.Secondly,through factor analysis,the main factors affecting the consumption behavior of Shanghai female outbound tourists can be further divided into four dimensions: service experience,consumption entertainment,core resources,and objective support.Through factor analysis of the dimensions of these four influencing factors,it was found that the attitudes of Shanghai women in outbound tourism determine their consumption behavior.This further clarifies the main purposes of Shanghai women’s outbound tourism,which include service experience oriented outbound tourism,consumer entertainment oriented outbound tourism,objective support oriented outbound tourism,and core resource oriented outbound tourism,From these four aspects,targeted marketing plans and strategies can also be developed for female outbound tourism with different types of needs in the future.Thirdly,Shanghai women’s outbound tourism has a higher proportion of destinations in terms of leisure vacation,sightseeing tourism,relaxation,and shopping.At the same time,the higher proportion of motivation choices for outbound tourism are to alleviate work pressure,relax the body and mind,eliminate tension and fatigue emotions,and expand one’s horizons through tourism.Fourthly.In terms of tourism activities,clothing,clothing,and jewelry are the favorite types of tourism for female outbound tourists in Shanghai.Based on the issues discovered through the above investigation and research,this article finally puts forward specific suggestions on how to improve the overseas tourism consumption of women in Shanghai from three levels: industry,women,and market.Firstly,the tourism industry management department can enhance the supervision of the tourism industry management department,improve the promotion level of online tourism network operators,and strengthen the supervision and security legislation of the "customer source" outbound tourism market;In terms of suggestions for the tourism market,the focus is on strengthening the design of women’s tourism products and improving the quality of tourism services in the UK;In terms of suggestions for individual women,such as combining their own travel needs,clarifying travel plans,scientific and rational consumption,etc.,outbound tourism can achieve the purpose of tourism travel.In summary,this study provides useful reference and guidance for relevant departments in Shanghai to regulate the female overseas tourism market and guide rational shopping and tourism for female overseas tourism.
