Prison police officers are devoted to many affairs in prison according to law,such as the maintaining of the country stability,the enforcement of punishment,the rehabilitation as well as preventing and reducing crime.Prison policewomen who administrate the criminals directly work roundly in the rehabilitation of women criminals.Nowadays,the constitution of women criminals becomes more and more complicated,and the tasks of prison policewomen increase rapidly.That is where the huge pressure comes from.Prison policewomen are under great stress in the high-risky,high-intensive working environment.Together with the absence of family responsibility,the fear of difficulties,antipathy as well as negative emotion increases to most of them.However,training,job promotion and performance evaluation are not enough for them.To sum up,effective encouragement measures need to be used to improve the sense of identity and working motivation.Based on the Two Factor Theory of Fredrick Herzberg and the Expectancy Theory of Victor H.Vroom,this thesis aims to find the deficiencies in the incentive mechanism of prison policewomen who administrate the criminals directly and give more effective measures to improve the motivation and efficiency of them.Policewomen in Shandong Y Women’s Prison are interviewed or asked to answer the questionnaires and the current situation and results are analyzed from some points of view,such as wages,benefits,training,job promotion and performance evaluation.
