| With the continuous development of society and economy,the consumption ability of residents has gradually improved,and the phenomenon of food waste has become increasingly severe.China’s annual food consumption is equivalent to the rations of about250 million people.It is estimated that my country’s per capita food waste and total food waste before 2030 Will continue to rise.Reducing food waste at the consumer end and ensuring my country’s food security has become an urgent problem to be solved.In this context,whether the country and the public can use information intervention to reduce food waste is worthy of in-depth study.Taking into account the national conditions of family dining in my country and the fact that the family end is the main link that produces food waste,this study takes the phenomenon of household food waste as the research object,and divides household food waste into four stages: purchase,storage,cooking,and eating.Part,research the influence of information intervention on household food waste behavior.The research on this issue has enriched our country’s research on information intervention and household food waste,and can also provide a basis for the government and the public to adopt appropriate intervention information.This study investigated the household food waste phenomenon of residents,studied the impact of information intervention on household food waste,and launched a systematic discussion.First,define the concept of household food waste,use survey data to analyze the demographic characteristics that affect household food waste;second,use censored regression model and propensity score matching model to explore the impact of information intervention on household food waste behavior;The information intervention types are subdivided,and the differences between the paper-based intervention information and the video-based intervention information in reducing household food waste are analyzed;finally,the research conclusions are summarized and policy recommendations are made.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Information intervention can significantly reduce household food waste,and the intervention information for each stage will have a cross-stage effect;(2)In addition to intervention information,demographic characteristics will also significantly affect household food waste(3)For different stages of household food waste,the intervention effects of different types of information are different.The recommendations of this study are as follows: First,the government and the general public should make good use of the effective tool of information intervention,through public media on the harm of food waste and relevant laws and policies promulgated by the state;second,the government and the general public For each stage of household food waste,appropriate information intervention methods should be selected;third,the government and the public should choose individual intervention measures according to local conditions,and pay attention to the influence of community demographic characteristics on the intervention effect. |
