Research On Strategies For Evaluating Public Safety And Enhancing Security Capability In Border Areas Of Ethnic Minorities

In recent years,with rapid economic development,accelerated population mobility,and increased regional development efforts,a series of public safety issues have emerged in various regions in terms of politics,economy,culture,society,ecology,and other aspects,which have a certain impact on people’s production and social stability.In particular,because of the special geographical location,natural conditions,Ethnic religion,foreign interference and other factors,the public security of border ethnic areas is often in the most vulnerable and sensitive,complex and dangerous position in the overall national security.It is particularly important to improve the public security of border ethnic areas.Therefore,this article uses the method of evaluating public safety in border ethnic areas to identify the risks to their public safety,and thus improve the security capabilities of border ethnic areas in a targeted manner.On the basis of relevant theoretical research,this article designs and develops an evaluation index system suitable for the current situation of public safety in border ethnic areas in China,scientifically evaluates the level of public safety in border ethnic areas,and promotes the improvement of security capabilities.First of all,through combing the relevant concepts,explore the characteristics of public security in border ethnic areas and the logical relationship between the various elements of public security,and then create a model of public security assessment in border ethnic areas,use the Delphi method method to build a public security assessment index system in border ethnic areas,and use the analytic hierarchy process to give corresponding weights to indicators at all levels.Secondly,it conducts an empirical study on nine provinces and autonomous regions in the border ethnic areas,calculates their public security assessment scores from 2014 to 2020 according to the formula,and conducts a comprehensive analysis on the assessment results.On this basis,it conducts a comprehensive analysis on the specific situations of the border ethnic areas in the five aspects of Political security,Economic security,cultural security,social security and ecological security.Finally,based on the evaluation results,strategies are proposed to enhance the public safety guarantee capacity in border ethnic areas.
