The Conflict And Solution Between The Legal News Report And The Right Of Privacy In The New Media Era

Under the new media perspective,rule of law news,as a report that reveals real-life conflicts,has gradually increased in attractiveness and credibility,bringing traffic revenue to the media while also generating a series of chaos,and the digitization of privacy information has made privacy infringement one of the common phenomena.In the current field of news dissemination under the rule of law,the continuous development of technology and means has posed new challenges to the protection of citizens’ privacy.With the help of communication,journalism and some legal theories,this study uses comparative analysis and case study methods to explore the conflict and reconciliation between rule of law journalism and citizens’ right to privacy,and to explore the problem from a professional perspective with regard to the violation of privacy in the process of rule of law journalism,so as to make the whole process follow the special principles related to rule of law journalism and thus promote the development of rule of law journalism more deeply.This study is divided into four parts.The first part is to sort out the conceptual changes and basic definitions of rule of law journalism and to describe the overview of the development of privacy rights from traditional privacy rights to online privacy rights.The second part takes actual judicial cases on the Judicial Documents Online as samples,and conducts a comparative analysis of the sample judicial cases through specific infringement results to clarify and define the status of privacy infringement in rule of law news reporting.The third part takes a case report of a rule of law event as an example,and presents the conflict between rule of law news reporting and privacy in cyberspace by exploring the content of the case report,and provides a summary description of its characteristics and analyzes its causes from the perspective of reporting and law.In the fourth part,it is discussed that under the value conflict between rule of law news reporting and privacy rights,theories such as Porter’s schema are applied to give suggestions on the balance strategy between rule of law news reporting and privacy rights from ethical and legal perspectives,in order to make useful thoughts and studies on rule of law news reporting.
