Spatial Governance And Functional Transformation Of Urban Parks

Urban park is a modern green space form based on different times.It carries the life memory of generations.As a valuable urban asset,urban park is not only an important place for residents to have a natural rest,but also an important place for social communication.With the advancement of the aging society,the concept of aging has changed from simply maintaining the physical and mental health of the elderly group to stimulating the potential of the elderly group and realizing its own value.The elderly friendly city came into being.The lack of park space design and space competition are the key problems in the construction of old-age friendly cities.Actively considering the needs of the elderly and equally responding to the needs of the public is an important idea to create a more inclusive city.As a special urban space,the renewal and development of urban parks is essentially the production process of space,and the spatial governance of parks is also an important starting point of urban governance.From the perspective of space production,urban park is a multi-dimensional space integrating material space,spiritual space and social space,which is the result of many factors.Taking the central urban area of Shanghai as the research scope,this paper studies the comprehensive parks,community parks and special parks for the elderly within its scope.Through the analysis of the spatial renewal and functional transformation process of urban parks,as well as interviews with representative elderly groups in the parks,we can understand the logic behind the production of urban space and the goals of park governance.However,in the actual process of spatial production of urban parks,the process of spatial production is affected by the entanglement of power,capital and unbalanced class forces that do not integrate with each other.The disparity in the influence of those in charge of urban space design and the actual users has led to the squeeze of the urban public space to which the citizens belong,resulting in the loss of public space and the lack of vitality of urban parks.Urban parks are the microscopic carriers of urban memory,and the development of urban parks is closely related to the growth experience of cities,which condenses the vitality and cultural vitality of cities,and is the central origin of urban spatial governance under the perspective of active aging.Urban park space reproduction is a new issue to clarify the production path and dilemma of urban park space.First,enhance and develop the positive connotation of the special park for the elderly.Aging is not only a state,but also a process,from the young elderly to the elderly in the development process is also accompanied by higher requirements for spatial safety and psychological safety.At the same time,the communication space is the basis for the occurrence of communication behavior,but the negative space environment is the pain point that hinders the interaction between communication behavior and communication space.Special parks for the elderly should actively respond to the safety demands of the elderly groups,meet,secondary and strengthen the social communication needs of the elderly,and carry the important role of the resocialization of the elderly groups.Second,it emphasizes that the daily life practice of community residents in the community park shapes the local and cultural characteristics of the space,and the outdoor activities of the elderly group enrich the connotation of the space while building social connections,and at the same time provide opportunities for the construction of communication space and virtual space.Third,put the spatial renewal and production of comprehensive parks in the first place,treat the demands of the elderly group equally,create an age-friendly comprehensive park,and actively protect and develop the urban rights of the elderly.By establishing links between urban elderly groups and urban architecture,urban history and urban character,their daily life practices also become the spatial production process that shapes urban memory.With this as a line of thought,we will explore and promote a new model of spatial governance with the appeal of all-ages groups as the goal and the urban park space as the starting point.
