Research On Demand Management Of B City Digital Government Industrial Operation Analysis Decision Support System Project

The digital economy is a key engine for modern economic development.Meanwhile,the construction of digital government is conducive to promoting the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity.Software projects play an important role in the process of digital government construction promotion.Among them,as the cornerstone of software project management work,requirements management directly affects the project construction process and implementation results.However,most of the prefecture-level city governments have limited resources,so how to meet the construction needs of project stakeholders as much as possible under the limited resources is a difficult problem that must be solved in the construction and promotion of such projects.Therefore,the system demand management is very important.The paper selected the project of digital government industry operation analysis and decision support system of city B as the object of analysis.The thesis was theoretically based on demand management theory and referred to relevant literature on digital government,CMMI,demand engineering,etc.Methods of research for this project on the current state of demand management issues included case studies,questionnaires,key user interviews,and so on.The study found that the project had problems with requirements fulfilment and satisfaction with requirements fulfilment,based on which the causes of the problems were further analysed in terms of requirements level management,confirmation process management and requirements change management,suggesting a comprehensive optimisation strategy for the project’s requirements management.The thesis research topic was selected from project management practice and the findings provide some useful insights into the optimisation of demand management for case projects.Meanwhile,as the construction of digital government at the local and municipal levels has been on the rise in recent years,the thesis also provides some help and experiences to be followed for subsequent related studies.
