Cambodia carried out a quantitative study to examine the public procurement system,with a particular focus on procurement programs for renewable generators.The sample size of the study is 300 procurement companies operating in Cambodia.Data is collected to examine aspects of the procurement process,stakeholder engagement,and performance and results.The findings shed light on Cambodia’s public procurement system.The analysis provides insight into the procurement process of renewable energy producers.Factors such as bid evaluation,contract award and the overall efficiency of the procurement process were reviewed.In addition,the study examines the extent to which stakeholders are involved in procurement activities,including collaboration with local communities,NGOs and industry experts.The study examines the performance and outcomes of renewable energy generator procurement programs.It evaluates key performance indicators(KPIs)to assess the success and effectiveness of procurement projects.The study examined aspects such as project completion rates,cost-effectiveness and overall project outcomes.The findings provide valuable insights into the Cambodian government procurement regime,especially in the context of renewable energy procurement Programmes.The results help to better understand the efficiency,stakeholder engagement and performance of renewable energy procurement activities.The study provides the basis for policymakers,practitioners and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and improve the effectiveness and outcomes of the government procurement system for the renewable energy sector in Cambodia. |
