Study On The Prevention And Control Of Urban Social Stability Risk

With the rapid economic and social development and the acceleration of urbanization,the contradiction between unbalanced and inadequate development and the people’s ever-growing need for a better life is intensifying,and the importance of risk prevention and control of urban social stability has become increasingly prominent.Despite the positive measures taken by the government,positive results have also been achieved in the prevention and control of risks to urban social stability.However,with the development of society,especially since 2020,urban social stability is faced with many risks and challenges in the context of intensified strategic games between China and the United States,frequent outbreaks of global public health emergencies,and increasing downward economic pressure.Not only are there a large number of risks and hidden dangers in the traditional sense,And there are new risks arising from public health emergencies,garbage sorting,school districts,nimby effects,economic development,and so on.These also put forward higher requirements for the prevention and control of the current urban social stability risk.At present,the risk prevention and control of urban social stability has been paid attention to by the government and people with insight in society.Suzhou is a city with early urbanization and relatively mature development,and the prevention and control of urban social stability risks has been carried out earlier and more mature,and its problems in the prevention and control of urban social stability risks are typical and representative to a certain extent.Z District has a certain representative significance in the whole Suzhou city.In recent years,Z District has taken positive measures in the prevention and control of urban social stability risks,achieved positive results and accumulated rich successful experience.Taking Z District of Suzhou City as the entry point,the research methods such as literature research,interview and field investigation were used to investigate and study the prevention and control of the risk of urban social stability.It is found that Z District actively promotes the prevention and control of urban social stability risks through the establishment of the linkage mechanism at district and street levels,the risk convergence research and punishment mechanism and the "double professional team" to promote the solution mechanism,and a series of results have been achieved,forming a good situation of multiple prevention and treatment and a normal prevention and control situation of risk passivation at the early stage.The study also found that in the prevention and control of social stability risks in Z area,there are still unclear powers and responsibilities of functional departments and discoordination.Single risk prevention and control performance and unclear indicators;The parties involved in risk prevention and control act independently,and there is a lack of management;Risk information collection consciousness is not strong,analysis and judgment ability is not strong.The study also found that the main causes of the problem include the lack of smooth linkage mechanism of functional departments,the lack of perfect risk prevention and control system,the lack of systematic social management of risk prevention and control,and the lack of perfect risk prevention and control information mechanism.On this basis,based on social governance theory,new public management theory,risk management theory and other theories,put forward countermeasures and suggestions on urban social stability risk prevention and control,including smooth departmental linkage mechanism,detailed rights and responsibilities;Refine the system and improve the performance level of risk prevention and control;Systematized social governance to improve the level of social co-governance;The purpose of improving the information mechanism and the ability to collect,analyze and judge information is to help constantly improve the prevention and control of risks of urban social stability,strengthen the harmony and stability of urban society,and further improve people’s well-being.
