In our contemporary, technologically and economically integrated society, technology has fully penetrated the human production and living space, enhancing human well-being while at the same time having a certain degree of negative impact on the world in which we live.Marx’s view of science and technology, which embodies humanistic concerns and always takes the free emancipation and comprehensive development of human beings as its fundamental pursuit, systematically explains the inner interaction and dialectical logic of "human-society-technology-nature",which is of great practical significance to overcome the alienation of science and technology, guide the humanistic development of science and technology, and deepen the humanistic value of science and technology. Therefore,it is an important orientation to grasp the Marxist view of science and technology from the perspective of humanity. This paper takes the formation of Marx’s view of science and technology as the starting point, and through the study and combing of Marx’s classic texts, outlines the main contents of Marx’s view of science and technology in various periods, and explores its profound humanistic connotation and its rich humanistic content. On this basis,we switch the context of the times to expand the modern scope of the humanistic dimension of Marx’s view of science and technology, and explore the practical significance and value in practice of Marx’s humanistic view of science and technology. This paper, excluding the introduction, conclusion and references,is divided into three parts. The first part, the formation of Marx’s view of science and technology.Firstly, clarify the connotations of science, technology, science and technology, the connotation of humannism, and the connotation of Marx’s view of science, which are relevant to Marx’s view of science and technology.Secondly, discusses the formation background of Marx’s concept of science and technology from the two aspects of social background and theoretical premise. Finally,by combing through the classical texts of Marx’s various periods, the formation process and main contents of his view of science and technology are outlined. In the second part, the main contents of the human dimension of Marx’s view of science and technology. From the three aspects of the nature of science and technology, the criticism of scientific and technological alienation and the value of science and technology, explains the essential consistency between science and technology and human beings, the dialectical unity of scientific and technological development, and the value subjectivity of scientific and technological practice, revealing the essence of Marx’s view of science and technology, which is "towards man,for man,and for man’s development".The third part, the contemporary value of the human dimension of Marx’s view of science and technology.Based on the current situation of the development of science and technology in contemporary society and the realistic requirements of building a strong socialist science and technology state with Chinese characteristics in the new era, exploring the modern scope, practical significance and value in practice of the human dimension of Marx’s view of science and technology is not only a further development of Marxist theory, but also an important guide for the development of science and technology in the present era.
