A Study On The Inner Logic And Breakthrough Path Of Marx’s Personification Of Capital

Since human society entered the capitalist stage,the rapid development of productivity has driven the rapid growth of material wealth under the logic of capital proliferation.However,at the same time,human society has also been subjected to the most profound rule of capital.In the final analysis,any rule is the rule of people,and capital regulates all existence in modern society.Its essence is that capital dominates and controls people’s internal personality,causing people’s thoughts and behavior to revolve around capital.This issue is summarized by Marx as "capital personification".Until today,the inherent logic and practical representation of "capital personification" continue to expand and deepen in all countries implementing market economies,and even globally,and increasingly penetrate into all aspects of human social life.Therefore,it is necessary for us to revisit Marx and Engels’ profound discourse on "capital personification",and combine it with the reality of China’s socialist market economy to isolate the internal logic of "capital personification",and based on this,propose a practical path to break through "capital personification",providing useful thinking and suggestions for the complete construction of personality under the conditions of China’s socialist market economy.This paper is elaborated through the following four chapters:The first chapter is an introduction.This paper mainly discusses the research background and significance,domestic and international research status,research ideas,research methods,and innovative points that the research aims to achieve.The second chapter defines the relevant concepts of Marx’s personification of capital.To clarify the concepts involved in Marx’s thought of personification of capital,"capital" is not only a kind of thing,but also a relations of production and economic power;Personality "is the sum of a person’s tendentious and relatively stable psychological characteristics and behavioral motivations,which can develop in both positive and negative directions;The "personification of capital" refers to the erosion,influence,and shaping of personality by capital,resulting in personality possessing the attributes and characteristics of capital.As a result,people can only think and act according to the inherent logic of capital,becoming the "personified capital".However,capital has become the main force that dominates human destiny and even the entire world.Deeply understand and grasp the three fundamental concepts of "capital","personality",and "capital personification",laying the foundation for the refinement of the internal logic in the following chapter.The third chapter elaborates on Marx’s inherent logic of capital personification,which is mainly divided into positive and negative effects.Among them,the positive effect is mainly reflected in the fact that capital promotes personality to exert its independence,initiative,fearlessness,economy,and progress,that is,capital promotes personality to have a higher level of development;On the other hand,capital will constantly penetrate and erode personality,giving it dependence,passivity,self-interest,money worship,and degeneration,thereby causing human alienation.This chapter analyzes the positive and negative effects of capital on personality,and separates the internal relationship between capital and personality.This chapter constitutes the focus of this paper’s research.The fourth chapter,on the basis of the internal logic of capital personification explained above,puts forward the realistic path of breaking through capital personification,which can be divided into four levels: on the material level,by constantly improving productivity and improving relations of production,to lay the material foundation for the existence of personality;On the spiritual level,by promoting the liberation of people’s minds and enriching their spiritual world,we can stimulate the spiritual power of personality cultivation;At the institutional level,by eliminating capitalist private ownership and establishing a communist system,we aim to construct a social system with independent personality;At the individual level,by having free labor practices and enjoying comprehensive social relationships,one can sublate the established state of personal perfection.On this basis,achieve a true breakthrough in the personification of capital.
