Research On Improving Rural Residents’ Sense Of Happiness In The Context Of Household Separation

Happiness is a goal that every society is striving to achieve,and residents’ happiness is also an important reference indicator to measure the quality of social life.Therefore,improving residents’ happiness has important research significance for building a harmonious society.Considering the dual structure of urban and rural areas in China,although all aspects of rural areas have been improved in the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,the gap between urban and rural areas still exists.At present,a large number of rural registered residence population still flows to cities.According to the data of the seventh national census bulletin,the results show that the population with separated households accounts for 34.9% of the national population,and the proportion of rural registered residence population with separated households is the largest.The rapid expansion of rural households has slowed down the development and construction of rural areas to a certain extent,and has also affected the subjective well-being level of farmers who remain in rural areas.This paper differs from the previous research that takes the population separated from households and cities as the research objects,innovatively takes the registered residence population living in rural areas as the research object,and selects X Township in Heilongjiang Province to carry out the research.Based on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,social comparison theory,and push-pull theory,combined with existing research results and actual rural conditions,a linear regression model was established by selecting five independent variables: socio-economic status,living environment,social security,interpersonal relationships,and social fairness,and taking farmers’ subjective well-being as the dependent variable.Then,select social fairness as a mediator variable to explore the relationship and impact mechanism between various factors and subjective well-being.This article explores the relevant factors that affect the well-being of rural residents in the context of household separation from multiple perspectives,with the aim of improving the quality of life of rural populations and enhancing their well-being,and provides suggestions for accelerating the realization of the strategic goal of rural revitalization.
