Study On Reemployment Of Land-lost Farmers In Saihan District,Hohhot In The Process Of Urbanization

With the acceleration of China’s urbanization development,more and more rural land has been requisitioned for other land,resulting in a large number of land-lost farmers.The land-lost farmers have difficulty in re-employment due to their lack of employment ability,labor skills and their inability to adapt to non-agricultural production in a short period of time.If the problem of reemployment of land-lost farmers cannot be solved in time,the process of urbanization will be affected,which will bring adverse effects to the sustainable and steady development of social economy.Therefore,the reemployment of land-lost farmers has become an important issue that has been attached great importance to by the academic circles in the public sector.The urbanization of Hohhot has been rapid in recent years.With the acceleration of urbanization,the increase in the number of land-losing peasants will inevitably appear.Saihan District is one of the four municipal districts in Hohhot,and the urbanization process is rapid.Through on-site visits and questionnaire analysis of land-lost peasants in Saihan District,the author understands their basic living conditions and difficulties in re-employment,and analyzes their own quality,reemployment-related policies and systems,employment market and other factors.The problems existing in the reemployment of land-lost peasants in Saihan District are going to be solved.In the end,this research is tailored to local conditions and specific problems.Based on the actual situation in Saihan District of Hohhot City and the many efforts that the government has made,some suggestions are put forward to further promote the reemployment of land-lost peasants and improve the compensation mechanism for land acquisition,Based on the local development of characteristic agriculture and tourism,relying on local governments to strengthen re-employment training for land-losing peasants,establishing a platform for re-employment information sharing for land-losing peasants,and organizing multi-path solutions for land-losing peasants to work outside.
