Upholding and perfecting the fundamental system of Marxism’s guiding position in the ideological field is the institutional guarantee for the CPC as a Marxist political party to calmly face and solve various risks and challenges in the ideological field and the direction of always maintaining the party’s advanced nature and purity.Adhering to this fundamental system is a deepening of the practice of the guiding position of Marxist ideology,but while the CPC has made achievements in understanding the ideological field over the past hundred years,there are also many problems and challenges.In order to solve the various risks and challenges facing the construction of China’s ideological system,on the basis of profoundly summing up the historical experience in the ideological field,the Fourth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has farsightedly established Marxism as the fundamental system for the guiding position in China’s ideological field,which not only has important strategic significance at the theoretical,political and practical levels,but also opens up a new realm of Marxist ideological system construction theory.The ideology mentioned in this article refers to the ideology of the Communist Party of China,which is an ideology based on the scientific nature of Marxism,whose purpose is to consolidate the socialist system with Chinese characteristics and the fundamental interests of the masses of the people,and thus has the characteristics of combining scientific and class nature.The fundamental system is a system that plays a unified role in the entire system.But at the same time,we cannot ignore the relationship between the fundamental system and other systems,and the relationship between the monistic guidance of Marxism and the development of multiculturalism.Adhering to this fundamental system is of great strategic significance in developing the Marxist theory of ideological system construction,enhancing the consciousness and self-confidence of the CPC’s ideological system,and fighting the ideological initiative battle in the new era.The establishment of any system is not established in a vacuum,but has its profound theoretical and cultural foundations;the ideas of Marx’s classic writers on system construction and the Marxist system construction ideas of the Chinese Communists in the new period constitute the theoretical basis of this fundamental system,and the institutionalization of Confucianism in traditional Chinese culture provides a cultural basis for upholding this fundamental system.Proceeding from the party’s century-old history,on the basis of major historical nodes and important meetings,it is divided into four historical periods: institutionalized development,institutionalized foundation,institutionalized restoration and development,and institutionalized innovation and stereotyping,and summed up the party’s leadership is to adhere to the unique advantages of this fundamental system,the party constitution and the constitution as the guide is the fundamental requirement for realizing institutionalization,and the combination of theoretical innovation and study and education is the basic prerequisite for realizing institutionalization.Improving the system of inner-party laws and regulations is the fundamental guarantee for institutionalization,and the formal system and the informal system are valuable experiences in the dual path of institutionalization.Under the circumstances of the new era,adhering to this fundamental system still faces many problems,and the practical path of adhering to this fundamental system is explored in a problem-oriented manner.From the perspective of the world situation,it is manifested as a new challenge to the penetration of Marxist ideology in China by Western ideologies in economic globalization,political multipolarization,and information networking;Judging from the national conditions,it is manifested as a new requirement from the changes in socialist contradictions,the diversification of social ideological trends,and the complexity of the pattern of interests.Judging from the party’s situation,it is manifested as a new task from the institutionalization of the study of Marxist theory,the institutionalization of the party’s political capacity building,and the institutionalization of the education of party members’ political beliefs.In order to cope with the challenges,in the new era,the construction of China’s ideological system must unswervingly implement the "two establishments",thoroughly implement Marxist theoretical research and construction projects,strengthen the construction of China’s ideological security system position,improve and implement the responsibility system for ideological work,strengthen the ideological system construction,multi-subject mission responsibility,build a sound ideological specific system,and promote the implementation of the system.
