Research On Deng Xiaoping’s Thought On The Party’s Leadership In Economic Construction Since The Reform And Opening Up

The leadership of the CPC is the fundamental guarantee of socialist modernization.To ensure the correct direction of economic development,achieve high-quality economic development,effectively deal with complex situations and resolve major risks,we must unswervingly strengthen the Party’s leadership in economic construction.In the process of promoting economic construction,Deng Xiaoping attached great importance to maintaining central authority,constantly emphasized adhering to and improving the leadership of the Party,and formed relatively systematic thought on the Party’s leadership in economic construction,which provided theoretical support and valuable experience for the practice of the Party’s leadership in economic construction in the new development stage of the new era.Therefore,it is significant to systematically study Deng Xiaoping’s thought on the Party’s leadership in economic construction since the reform and opening up.This paper summarizes and organizes Deng Xiaoping’s important thought on the Party’s leadership in economic construction since the reform and opening up.Based on the general analysis of existing research results,this study uses literature analysis method,historical analysis method and inductive-deductive method to conduct an in-depth analysis and interpretation on the formation conditions,main contents,theoretical significance and contemporary value of Deng Xiaoping’s thought on the Party’s leadership in economic construction.First of all,on the basis of inheriting thoughts of Marx,Engels,Lenin,Stalin and Mao Zedong on the leadership of the proletarian party in economic construction,drawing on the market economy theory of Western economics,drawing on the experience and lessons learned from the CPC’s exploration in the early stages of socialist construction as well as the leadership of the Soviet Communist Party in economic construction,and based on the specific domestic and foreign background at that time,Deng Xiaoping’s thought on the leadership of the party in economic construction was formed.Secondly,through systematic analysis of Deng Xiaoping’s discussion on the Party’s leadership in economic construction,this paper summarizes its main contents,and elaborates on the necessity,objectives,basic principles,methodological strategies and practice route of the Party’s leadership in economic construction.Finally,based on the above study,this paper illustrates the theoretical significance and contemporary value of Deng Xiaoping’s thought on the Party’s leadership in economic construction since the reform and opening up.Since the reform and opening up,Deng Xiaoping’s understanding of the Party’s leadership in economic construction has continued to deepen,with a comprehensive and systematic explanation of why and how to adhere to the Party’s leadership in economic construction,making it increasingly developed into the thought with rich connotation,clear system and rigorous logic.Deng Xiaoping’s thought on the Party’s leadership in economic construction since the reform and opening up have not only provided theoretical guidance for the Party’s leadership in economic construction practice in the new period of reform,opening up and socialist modernization,but also have important practical inspiration for adhering to strengthening the Party’s centralized and unified leadership in economic work in the new development stage.
