The Alienation Of Digital Labor And The Possibility Of Overcoming IT

Labor materials play an important role in dividing the economic era and reflecting the degree of social development.In the era of digital economy,digital labor,which is characterized by digital labor materials,has entered the public eye,which has a great impact on the rapid development of economy and society and provides the possibility of labor emancipation,but at the same time,it also makes digital laborers a common existence in society and makes alienated labor more normalized.The alienation of digital labor has become the most important contemporary manifestation of alienated labor as revealed by Marx.In order to move from the Kingdom of Necessity to the Kingdom of Freedom,the fundamental path lies in liberating labor from alienation and making it a truly free and autonomous activity.Therefore,in the context of the current era,an in-depth study of digital labor as the main contemporary form of alienated labor and its possible ways to overcome it,and the discovery of the contemporary connotation of Marx’s concept of labor,are important for revealing the development of contemporary society and the survival of contemporary human beings.Based on Marx’s theory of alienated labor,this paper explores the nature of alienation of digital labor and analyzes the contemporary characteristics of digital labor alienation in the context of existing forms of digital labor,which not only helps to enrich the connotation of Marx’s theory of alienated labor,but also provides theoretical references for scholars at home and abroad to further study the theory of digital labor.Besides,the analysis of the alienation phenomenon in digital labor in this paper can also provide some theoretical reference for the healthy and orderly development of digital labor in the socialist society with Chinese characteristics.This paper analyzes and critiques digital labor in the following aspects: Firstly,it analyzes the relationship between "digital labor" and Marx’s "alienated labor",and according to Marx’s general prescriptions for labor conclude that-Digital labor" does not depart from Marx’s basic grasp of labor,but became the main contemporary form of Marx’s alienated labor,and exhibits new digital features that Marx did not explain.Secondly,following the path of Marx’s "four regulations" on alienated labor,the paper elaborates on the forms of alienation between digital workers and digital labor products,digital workers and digital labor,digital workers and their class nature,and alienation between people,revealing the situation and experience of potential alienation of digital workers in the process of digital labor.Finally,this paper analyzes the reasons for the alienation of "digital labor" from the following three aspects: the contemporary factors-the control of digital capital and digital technology,the subjective factors-the "weak labor consciousness" of workers and the digital labor capacity that has yet to be improved,and the social factors-private ownership and social division of labor.Through analysis,it is proposed that three countermeasures to improve the objective environment of digital labor,improve the environment of digital labor subjects,and abandon the premise of private ownership of alienation.
