| In the Yan’an period(1935-1948),Mao Zedong attached great importance to the cultural construction of the base area,and gradually formed a unique cultural construction thought through continuous exploration and practice.Mao Zedong’s cultural construction thought in the Yan’ an period was formed under multiple conditions.The full outbreak of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression,the relatively stable ruling environment,the large number of intellectuals to Yan ’an,the cultural theory of Marxist classic writers,the excellent traditional Chinese culture,the Yan’ an rectification,summarized the practical experience of the new democratic revolution,and Mao Zedong himself.The content and thought of Mao Zedong’s cultural construction in the Yan’ an period was profound and rich.Mao Zedong expounded the status of cultural construction;pointed out that the guiding ideology of cultural construction is Marxism,the leading force is the proletariat,the backbone is the intellectual;the ultimate purpose of cultural construction is to build a national,scientific and mass new democratic culture.To promote cultural construction,we should vigorously develop education,literature and journalism;correctly treat traditional Chinese culture and foreign culture of the West.In the Yan’an period,Mao Zedong emphasized the political function of culture,adhered to the people-centered practice,the practice of cultural construction thought,and always adhered to the materialist dialectical thinking method,which are the main characteristics of his ideology.Mao Zedong’s cultural construction thought in the Yan’ an period is of great historical and practical significance.In Mao Zedong cultural construction thought has developed the Marxist cultural theory and enriched the cultural theory system of the Communist Party of China.In the construction of culture in the new era,we should adhere to the correct direction of cultural development;strengthen the construction of cultural personnel team;promote the development of cultural innovation,and promote the combination of Marxism and excellent traditional Chinese culture,so as to realize the great goal of building a strong cultural power. |
