In the late 1960s and early 1970s,the nationwide movement to go to the mountains and go to the countryside,under the deployment of national coercive forces,combined people with different geographical and identity backgrounds,forming a "community" of young people whose production and life are closely linked.As a witness to major historical events,there are few studies on the combination of educated youth and collective memory theory,and sociological research with farm educated youth as the main body has not yet appeared.This article uses the collective memory theory framework,with a quality research method,which is dominated by oral interview.Through the in-depth excavation of the state-run Mile Dongfeng Farm and the state-run Jinghong Farm,this paper explores the formation of the collective memory of the educated youth and the process and logic of its construction.It is worth noting that the collective memory of Educated Youth is not a stagnant state of memory,but a dynamic process of constantly updating and adjusting in the process of time and space change.The study of the collective memory of Educated Youth should not only grasp its integrity,but also take this dynamic into account,and this research figures out the construction process of collective memory of farm Educated Youth on this basis.The author believes that the collective memory of educated youth on farm is not a pure life-style memory,but contains the dependent memory of educated youth to the state and the farm under the production of the national system,the coupled memory produced by the multiple interactions of the educated youth group and the gaze of others,and the spontaneous memory of educated youth from the bottom up and belonging to the individual.Therefore,the collective memory construction process of farm intellectuals also occurs under the joint action of multiple factors,which includes the top-down institutional shaping of the state and the farm,the high-pressure cultural pen etration and the reconstruction of the relationship within the closed field,but the influence of this top-down state on the collective memory is not a shrouded,mechanical causal influence,but a variety of cracks,multiple paths and even resistance.Under today’s time and space transformation,educated youth is still shaping and strengthening the collective memory.The current participation of collective activities,and the intensive and shaping of collective memory,is also a portrayal of this. |
