Construction Of Hong Kong Youth National Identity Under One Country,Two Systems Research On The Path Of Rule Of Law

In recent years,there have been some discordant voices and phenomena in Hong Kong society.Looking at these phenomena,it can be found that there are some problems with the current national identity of Hong Kong youth.These problems all embody the weakness or lack of national identity of some Hong Kong youths,and are manifested in the misunderstanding of the one country,two systems principle and policy by Hong Kong youth.The authority and governance of the government are questioned and even hostile.However,the youth in Hong Kong have a reduced sense of identity with the nation-state and lack of understanding of the country’s legal system with the constitution as the main body.The collusion between Hong Kong opposition forces and foreign hostile forces has intensified social conflicts in Hong Kong,and Hong Kong’s imperfect legal system for safeguarding national security is the main reason for this.An important reason for the gradual weakening of the national identity of Hong Kong youth.It is especially important to find a way that is suitable for the identity of Hong Kong people,especially young people.The return of Hong Kong is not only the return of territory,but also the return of people’s hearts.It is an urgent problem to be solved in the theoretical circles to explore how to improve the constitutional consciousness,national consciousness and national consciousness of the younger generation in Hong Kong,and to strengthen their national identity.At the same time,since the Central Committee of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee proposed that in the process of adhering to one country,two systems and promoting the reunification of the motherland,firmly implement patriots governing Hong Kong and patriots governing Macao,and promote the transformation of the situation in Hong Kong from chaos to governance.Since the turning point of the strategic policy,most of the theoretical research on the national identity of Hong Kong youth has focused on relatively macro-level issues such as national culture and education,and the construction of government systems.Therefore,exploring Youth national identity in Hong Kong under the rule of law is not only related to Hong Kong compatriots’ sense of identity with the nation-state,but also related to the protection of national sovereignty and security.Through the methods of empirical research and normative analysis,this paper studies the construction of the rule of law system of the national identity of Hong Kong youth from the perspective of one country,two systems,and uses the legal basis of the Constitution and the Basic Law in the rule of law system as the theoretical basis to discover the factors that affect the national identity of Hong Kong youth in practice.Analyzing the reasons,and on the basis of Hong Kong’s constitutional order,which is formed by the Constitution and the Constitution according to one country,two systems,it promotes the national identity of Hong Kong youth by cultivating constitutional patriotism and strengthening the identity of Hong Kong youth with the Constitution and the Basic Law.In terms of the safeguarding role of national identity,the preliminary exploration and construction of the path of strengthening the rule of law for the national identity of Hong Kong youths has been completed.
