Study Of Dramatic Public Opinion Form In Contentious Politics Of Taiwan During The"Anti-Corruption Depose-Chen Movement"

Behavioral public opinion is a special form of public opinion,and contentious politics is a sharpening manifestation of this form of public opinion.In the contentious politics,due to the differences in the various elements of public opinion and their combinations,the specific types of behavioral public opinion patterns presented in the movement are also different.This article takes the form of public opinion in Taiwan’s"Anti-corruption Depose-Chen Movement" as the research object,and examines it in the historical framework of the evolution of the form of Taiwan ’s contentious politics in the past 60 years,by using historical documents,in-depth interviews and other methods to investigate the characteristics of its form of public opinion and its influences.The study found that the forms of public opinion in the " Anti-corruption Depose-Chen Movement"showed a distinctive dramatic character.In this movement,the subject of public opinion is divided into a core subject and a collective subject.Among the core subjects,Fan Keqin determines the style of the movement,grasps the rhythm of the movement,and controls the direction of the movement,reflecting the characteristics of the role of the director;The commander-in-chief Shi Mingde showed the starring roles of "sacrifice" and "hero" by means of discourse;the flat people show high participation enthusiasm and creativity,which is in line with the characteristics of group performance.The field where the public opinion occurs is designed to the specifications of the theater and the style of the area,with the attributes of a performance area.The mediators of public opinion include slogans,gestures,costumes,songs,etc.Among them,the slogans are " line design" for anti-bian people,gestures become "action design",uniform clothing is "costume design" and "Red Flower Rain"is "song design".These together constitute the dramatic form of public opinion in this movement.Studies have shown that the dramatic form of public opinion in the"Anti-corruption Depose-Chen Movement" had three aspects influences of magnification,control and history.Magnified influence is reflected in the interaction with the media.Dramatization is in line with the logic of media reports and attracts media attention.At the same time,media reports magnify the characteristics of dramatization.The controlled influence is reflected in the dramatic creation of the boundary of the stage.The people in the flat area traveled in accordance with the route set in advance within the scope of the stage,which determined the limited lethality of the movement.Eventually,Chen Shuibian could not be deposed.Also,because of the existence of this boundary,movement was controlled within a safe range,and the entire movement ended peacefully.Historical influence is reflected in the spread of symbols across time and space.Inverted gestures,red shirts and other symbols are constantly reappearing in Hong Kong and Taiwan after the movement.From a dramatic perspective,reviewing the form of public opinion in Taiwan’s contentious politics before the "Anti-corruption Depose-Chen Movement",the author found that the form of public opinion in the previous movement was ambushing dramatic genes.Dramatic genes are manifested in uniform costumes that appear one after another,increasingly rich props for appeal expression,and the turn of the square to the theater.The dramatic characteristics of the form of public opinion in Taiwan’s contentious politics did not come out in one day,but after historical evolution and advancement,it was gradually presented and expressed in a dramatic manner.
