| Karma is the core of Buddha’s thought,the most perfect explanation of the truth of Buddhism,and the most perfect entry point to praise Buddha.Zongkhapa,as a Buddhist master of the first generation,created a new and unique way to praise the wisdom of Buddha by praising the right reason,reflecting the unique temperament of “relying on knowledge rather than knowledge” and profound Buddhist self-cultivation,especially the profound insight and pioneering work of “the Karma is the emptiness of nature” in the interpretation of the concepts of Buddhism,which impressed many famous monks and scholars.But Zongkhapa’s understanding and interpretation of Nagarjuna and his son’s profound Madhyamika doctrine was not achieved overnight or easily,but through twists and turns and painstaking efforts,finally at the age of 42,he fully understood the profound meaning of the Nakarjuna view,and created the“Praise of Karma”reflecting its true purpose.“Praise of Karma”implies the extraordinary enlightenment and profound experience of Zongkhapa,which is not only a sign of the maturity of Zongkhapa’s insight,but also the first work of Zongkhapa’s enlightenment.Based on the analysis of the social background at that time and the content and characteristics of the “ Praise of Karma ”,this paper holds that the development process of the Madhyamika of Zongkhapa has experienced two stages:the early stage and the late stage,and the“Praise of Karma” is the watershed of the early and late stage of Zongkhapa,and focuses on the study of the supplement of“Praise of Karma” to the early stage of Zongkhapa.As well as the role of supporting structure of the view in the later period,and then extend the construction significance of “Praise of Karma”,and make a reasonable evaluation of its influence and positioning. |
