The Guiding Significance Of Vocal Music Theory To Vocal Music Learning

In the field of vocal music singing,theory and practice are complementary and indispensable,and the dialectical relationship between the two cannot be arbitrarily separated,emphasizing one aspect in isolation.In recent decades,the art of vocal music singing has undergone continuous development and evolution in China.Driven by many old and new generations of vocal music performing artists and educators,through various forms of vocal music art practice,these practical achievements have been sorted out and collected in different degrees and ways,forming a relatively systematic vocal music theory without forms.This article explores the important guiding significance of vocal music theory for vocal music learning through the exploration of three books on vocal music theory: Shi Weizheng’s 《Fundamentals of Vocal Music》,Li Jinwei,Li Jinyuan’s《Shen Xiang’s Vocal Music Teaching Art》,and Tian Yubin’s 《Famous Artists Talk about Art》,combining with my own practice in vocal music singing and vocal music teaching.
