In recent years,with the continuous development of technology,people’s understanding of electronic music has become more and more in-depth,and the creation of electronic music has gradually become an indispensable part of modern music creation.Percussion,as an important part of instrumental music,has also evolved with the changing times.In the last hundred years,composers and performers have been researching and developing percussion instruments in order to obtain distinctive tones,making percussion more and more diverse in terms of traditional forms of instrumentation and types of traditional instruments.This paper collects and organizes as much as possible the electronic music works with percussion instruments in Chinese contemporary hybrid electronic music works,and takes the characteristic fragments of these works as the research objects.By studying the sound combinations of percussion instruments and electronic sounds in the fragments,the common characteristics of the works are analyzed.The paper is divided into three main parts: the introduction,the body,and the conclusion.The introductory section describes the main purpose and significance of this thesis,as well as the current status of domestic and international research.The main part of the paper is divided into five chapters: the first chapter is devoted to the explanation of the concept of hybrid electronic music,the concept of percussion timbre,and the overview and value of the works studied in this paper;the second,third,and fourth chapters focus on "ethnicization","modernization",and the fusion of timbres.The second,third and fourth chapters attempt to summarize the characteristics of percussion instrument timbres in contemporary Chinese electronic music works from three perspectives: "nationalization","modernization" and the fusion of timbres.Chapter 5 attempts to analyze and summarize the creative concept as well as artistic value of percussion instrument timbres in music composition.In the conclusion,the author summarizes the exploration of percussion timbres in Chinese contemporary hybrid electronic music through the above chapters,hoping to summarize some of the characteristics of their creative applications through the analysis of examples and multi-dimensional studies of the works.
