"Piano Suite-prelude,4 fantasias and 4 characteristic pieces for piano" is a piano suite composed by Zhao Xi in 1997,consisting of a combination of 9 short tracks.This work is rich in genre and diverse musical materials,using Western musical motives and Chinese musical materials combined with modern music creation techniques,presenting a variety of modern Chinese piano works.This paper consists of five parts:the first part mainly expounds the research significance and research status of this paper.The second part summarizes Zhao Xi’s piano music composition.The third part analyzes the creation of the work,of which the analysis of musical materials is the focus of this part.The fourth part is the focus of this paper,which analyzes the playing technique of this work from the perspectives of atonality,irregular beat,pedal and so on.Part V Epilogue.Taking this work as the research object and aiming at studying how to play a good work,the author deeply analyzes the creation techniques and performance skills of "Piano Suite-prelude,4 fantasias and 4 characteristic pieces for piano" through interviews with composers and harmonic analysis of works,combined with his own practical experience in performance,which provides reference and reference for performers to grasp the aesthetic style of music and interpret musical works.
