Abstract/Summary:
Avigdor Arikha is one of Israel’s famous representational painters.His early abstract art style made him take a leading position in the whole art painting circle.In the mid-20 th century,he suddenly turned to representational painting successfully.Make it different from other realistic painting artists at that time.This paper will begin with the analysis of Arikha’s painting works,mainly studying the process of the transformation of Arikha’s painting style,focusing on the analysis of the artistic aesthetic characteristics of figurative painting language and the outline of the influence brought to the later generations.This paper is divided into four chapters: The first chapter,combined with the background of Arikha’s early life,summarizes the abstract painting stage and the reasons for turning to the figurative style.The second chapter through the analysis of Arikha’s painting works,in-depth study of the painter’s painting theme,the way of viewing,composition,color,brushwork of the uniqueness.The third chapter combines Chinese painting and contemporary painting art to summarize the influence of Arikha’s figurative painting.In Chapter four,through a comprehensive study of Alika,the author tries to find relevant inspirations suitable for his own painting creation,and combines his own creation practice with Chinese traditional history and culture to deepen his understanding of Arikha’s painting concepts,observation methods and artistic language.
