Under the dual background of the rapid development of science and technology and the continuous spread of the new crown epidemic,online Chinese teaching has gradually become the best choice for overseas scholars due to its flexibility and convenience.However,the online environment is not a real language environment after all,and it is difficult to achieve real language interaction and achieve the purpose of improving the Chinese communication ability of foreign students.Based on the above considerations,Central China Normal University and Peking University HSBC Business School jointly launched the "Online Chinese Corner" activity,hoping to solve the oral communication dilemma of foreign students through this extracurricular Chinese activity.However,with the deepening of practice,the problems in the content and implementation of the "Online Chinese Corner" have gradually been exposed.In order to create a good reputation of "Online Chinese Corner" and effectively improve the oral communication ability of foreign students,the author based on the research of predecessors,combined with his own internship experience in participating in the Chinese Corner of the Advanced Class,carried out a reflective practical study on the Chinese Corner activities of the Advanced Class,hoping to reduce the pressure on the teachers of the Advanced Class to undertake activities,improve the quality of the Chinese Corner Activities of the Advanced Class,and provide reference for other online Chinese activities.This paper studies the advanced class activities of "Online Chinese Corner" through the research ideas of analysis-practice-reflection.Firstly,the activities of the advanced class of "Online Chinese Corner" are analyzed in the early stage.In terms of activity positioning,it was clarified that the nature of the activities of the "Online Chinese Corner" is an online Chinese extracurricular activity,and the purpose of the activity is to help students improve their Chinese communication skills and learn more about Chinese culture.In terms of activity participants,it was found that the students of the advanced class had outstanding professional level,high Chinese proficiency,and lack of Chinese language environment,and the teachers of the advanced class were all novice teachers and had great enthusiasm for participation.In terms of activity content and form,according to the needs of students and the activity,a detailed list of cultural items of "Online Chinese Corner" of Advanced Class was constructed,and nine types of activity forms such as "introduction/appreciation" "theme display" and "knowledge teaching" were designed based on the characteristics of online.These preliminary analyses provide a theoretical basis for the design and implementation of the Chinese corner activity of the advanced class.Secondly,the summer practice of the advanced class of "Online Chinese Corner" is summarized.Through the combing of the eleven activities of the Chinese corner of the summer advanced class,it was found that there were problems such as single activity content and form,insufficient activity planning,etc.So the activity flow table of the advanced class was modified to standardize the process of designing and implementing Chinese corner activity.In terms of activity participants,it was found that the students in the advanced class had different Chinese proficiency,the number of participants in the activity was uncertain,the activity needs were clear,the teachers of the advanced class had a solid professional foundation,tacit cooperation and clear awareness,and listed the tasks of the main and auxiliary teachers according to the division of labor.In terms of case presentation,the author takes the "Play TikTok" Chinese Corner activity as an example to try to solve the problems existing in the practice of the activity and show the complete process of activity design and implementation.The summary and reflective practice of the Chinese corner activities of the summer advanced class provide reference for the subsequent Chinese corner activities.Finally,reflect on the advanced class activities of "Online Chinese Corner".The Chinese corner activities of the advanced class have the advantages of scientific and standardized,student-oriented,multi-perspective interpretation of Chinese culture,and continuous improvement and reflection of teachers,but there are also shortcomings in activity design and planning,as well as advanced class teachers.In view of these deficiencies,the author puts forward three major suggestions and eight specific suggestions for strengthening the construction and management of the activity,enriching the content and form of the activity,and continuously improving the quality of teachers based on the practice of Chinese corner and the characteristics of activity participants.It is hoped that the "Online Chinese Corner" can improve these problems in future activities,improve the quality of activities,and develop into an excellent online Chinese communication platform.
