A Study On The Image Creation Of The First Person Documentary

This article takes the creative process of the documentary “parents’ love“ as a sample,focus on the difficulties and solutions that may be encountered.As a typical first-person documentary,"Parents’ Love" has its own unique image creation methods in both pre-shooting and post-editing.This article mainly explores and analyzes the problems that are easy to occur in the process of shooting first person documentaries from five aspects: the use of re-performance,the switching of narrative tense,the treatment of narrator traces,the structural design of first person documentaries,and the use of literature materials,combined with relevant literature and industry works.This paper argues that in first person documentaries,proper acting does not violate the authenticity of documentaries,and helps to improve the efficiency of shooting;By using old photos and other image materials as clues to organize filming and using new and old materials in a stacked manner,the narrative tense can be transformed;The first person documentary can show the traces of the narrator,and even the active appearance of the narrator helps to reflect the authenticity of the documentary;The structure of the first person documentary can be more changeable;The presentation of the literature itself should have information.
