The Application And Artistic Expression Of Clam Powder In Meticulous Heavy Color Painting

Heavy color painting occupies an important position in the history of Chinese art.In ancient traditional painting,white is the most commonly used one of the five main colors,while clam powder is the most widely used due to its stable nature and difficulty in changing color.This article first analyzes the important role of mineral material clam powder in the development of Chinese art history,and takes representative works such as the Western Han Dynasty Mawangdui silk painting,the Tang and Song Dynasty silk heavy color painting,the Ming Dynasty Fahai Temple mural,and the Shui Lu An colored sculpture,to provide painting enthusiasts with a clear understanding.Later,using rock color as the background,Jiang Caiping,He Jiaying,Tang Yongli,Guo Jiying,Sun Zhensheng,and Luo Hanlei analyzed and introduced the application and expansion of clam powder in contemporary heavy color creation,providing a more comprehensive introduction for painting enthusiasts who are not familiar with clam powder,so that more painters can understand and apply it.Finally,taking personal graduation creations as an example to analyze the artistic expression and value of clam powder.
